---I was extremely disappointed with AM's portrayal of another character pretending to be AM. She didn't act differently at all except for nervous, and worried. Her dialect, and personality was the same as our Chloe.

Hands down Tom Welling. No one even came close to him in this episode. He was the only light at the end of the tunnel for this snoozefest. And that's incredibly impressive considering he also directed the episode. So very nice job, Mr. Welling!

I agree. Tom was great.

The only reason I knew it wasn't Chloe was because of the scripted dialogue of Chloe pulling a 180 on Clark where she condoned killing Davis. Not because of the acting. Perhaps the take on this aspect was that Eva Greer is a great study of character and could mimick Chloe very well?

If that's the case, I can see the angle AM approached it from. But I really need that to be shown in the script to buy it. Honestly, I'm shocked that she wouldn't change her dialect/way she spoke. The emphasis and conviction in her voice was the same. Even Tom did a subtle, but noticeable change, when he played Bizarro in S7 to hint he was Bizarro before the reveal. Hopefully, the explanation scene will be cut and on the DVD extras and AM's solid record will be rectified in my mind.

For me, Tom Welling was by far the best actor in this episode. I didn't even have to think about it. He just was.

Justin Hartley was pretty good as well, but for being the clever Green Arrow that he is, I would have thought he'd be a little more serious, and quite a lot less goofy. The scene in Tess' bedroom was fine and perfectly understandable (even though find it strange that he wouldn't wear underwear underneath his costume... LoL... even Superman wears underwear!)... but I wish Oliver had used a different ploy to get Tess to touch the wine bottle. All he did was make her angry, and it was borderline sexual harassment... no? I get he's a player, but really? It's not like he really wanted to sleep with her anyway.

I need to see this episode again.

Justin Hartley did a great job, too. He definitely had the most fun :) Not that I mind at all, but does he ever keep his shirt on for an entire episode?

I thought AM did an excellent job in the beginning even though it was actually supposed to be Ava (shapeshifter) as Chloe. I think AM has done a fine job this season w/ a very dark storyline.

CF was surprisingly good tonight as well! Bravo to her, too!

I voted for Tom Welling with Justin Hartley being a close second then Cassidy Freeman. I honestly can't believe that Alison Mack is beating both JH and CF here. I didn't see anything special about her performance as fake Chloe.

Tom a great job directing too. It's too bad he had a mediocre script and episode to work with.

Chloe acted her butt off in this episode. It's still hard for me to watch that scene between her and Clark at the couch even tho I know it's not really her. She just looks so scared! If Tom had anything to do with getting that out of her than you gotta give him credit. but she's always been a great actor. anyway, she gets my vote.
