That is from the comics as well as the animated series. He was never supposed to keep them permanently.

Wow.Chloe was a clone afterall.Who knew?

The episode was mostly bland up until the whole Chloe/Chlone.Neutron and Livewire only being reduced to "Hey look! Were DC characters!" cameo's was disappointing also I assume,Neutron's powers=stretching the F/X budget.I loved Plastique's line about starting up the eventual Injustice League.

Also,holy crap! Tess is the newest "vessel" for ZOD! Well I was right about the orb being the newest Deus Ex Machina.Looks like Zod is pulling the same scheme he did with Isabella from "Justice&Doom" except instead of crystal ball it's metallic orb.

Anderson, Kandor is depicted as the capital city of the planet of Krypton, home of the Council and the Temple of Rao. The city was sieged by the Brain Interactive Construct, later renamed Brainiac by Commissioner Zod. Brainiac had admired the beauty and architecture of Kandor and wanted to preserve the city from destruction, should disaster strike Krypton as it did on his home planet of Colu. Commissioner Zod permitted Brainiac's taking of Kandor, stating that Brainiac could have the city, as the rest of Krypton belonged to him. zod somehow was communicating with lex.
lex tells tess he is clark kryptonian father or something.
unbeknownst to tess, they are setting up clark.

ok, so clark is the protector of earth.
not the traveler like we were misled to believe last year.
davis is.
the injustice league was hunting the beast, and in the beginning mentioned the traveler, which we all assumed was clark saving him.
thats why the orb didnt work on clark last season in the fortress.
the orb is brainiacs only way of communicating, and hes using it to release zod from the phantom zone. the legion will most likely take doomsday to the future and clark will have to fight him then. (and die like in the comics).
until then, its zod +brainiac vs. superman
