Jimmy's Cloverfield reference to Davis?

Jimmy was to make a reference to Davis as the monster from Cloverfield on his wedding day and didn't get mentioned. Anyone know what happened?

They edited it out. Just like the aftermath were Davis punches him across the room or something like that. It has happened a lot this season. Initial spoilers not being accurate. I suspect that they rewrite a lot of scenes in every episode.

Not unusual for teasers to not be included in the actual ep (heck, I remember even the Simpsons doing that!). Probably strapped for time....got to get those 4,154 commercials in, ya know. I'd love for the DVDs to all include "director's cuts" of the eps!

Maybe they'll show it as a deleted scene on the Season 8 DVD.
