When DD first shows up in the comics he surfaceses from deep underground since TPTB said something about lining up Smallville with D.C. mythos I thought maybe DD would get tossed down this hole in the finale

It could happen. At this point I don't care if he's off with Lana running in the meadows as long as he gets off my tv! I've never been more annoyed by a television show character than Davis Bloome. I was expecting it to happen too.

jsith99, I was thinking it was either a reference to the "Go Green" initiative that lots of networks seem to be hyping up these days, or... Could it possibly have something to do with one of the fire pits (or whatever they're called) of Apokolips? Could Darkseid be coming in at some point? Probably a longshot, considering it was something of a throwaway line, and I doubt that TPTB were thinking that deeply about it when they wrote it in, but still... interesting thought, nonetheless. I suppose its possible that this will be doomsday's hole for awhile. I mean, 10 miles, and he can't just fly up out of there, so it could happen. Prly not going to, but I can see it happening.

yep this is what's going to happen. i have a feeling about it. years later when lex surfaces he'll end up going in there and "accidently" releasing doomy. although isn't doomy in some state of sleep down there?

I disagree. The writers didnt have to make them talk about anything in that meeting. I feel that it would be kind of random to through in a "10 mile hole in the ground" line. I think it could come up again, especially with disposing of Doomsday

That is a pretty good idea. Anything can happen on Smallville so this idea shouldn't be out of reach.
