Some things just never change. Clark is indecisive, conflicted and in agony over what he needs to do. He sees Davis erroneously as a human being instead of what he is. Clark had no problem killing Milton Fine and stating that he wasn't a person so why the conflict over Doomsday. We still have the eversmart Chloe telling Clark what to do. I wish he would have sent her to the Phantom Zone with Davis and then go find Lois and buy her a cup of coffee.

This season and this whole Chloe/Davis/Clark story arc has been handled so poorly. At this point I am looking forward to next season simply to be done with Doomsday and hopefully Chloe's stupidity. I hope they some how get Lex back so we can get things some what back on track.

If they brought Lex back Clark would still be portrayed as wanting to find the good in his boyhood pal. The writers can't seem to function any other way.

Well Clark has seen the human side of Dommsday, even if its fake or whatever Clark still believes everyone deserves a chance and should be helped...he wouldnt kill unless it was the last resort, I think hes done with all this now though, after Chloe ran off with Clark probably wants to kill him now

It was great seeing Clark smash the file cabinet. I would have preferred he do that to Davis but at least he is getting upset. I'd like to see the Man of Steel angry.

So Clark sacrificed Chloe's life (figuratively) and endangered the world to keep camouflage happy?
I can't believe I'm saying this, but this time, Clark, it is your fault.

You're right in the end. My father, after my mother died married a horrible woman who treated my sisters horribly. I never blamed her. I blamed my dad. This is the same thing but these writers love to present a weak willed, conflicted, overwrought Clark Kent who isn't sure if he even wants to be Superman. I keep thinking that we're past that but here we are again. He should have grabbed the disc and the crystal from Chloe and finished his task. It's ludicrous that he allowed Chloe to boss him around like that. I just hate that.

I thought Clark would get his pair back once Lana left, but she apparently gave Chloe power of attorney over them after she left.

I disagree. How did Clark sacrifice anything when he was going to send him to the Phantom Zone. Chloe endangered her own life and those of everyone else in the world. And if Clark dies in Doomsday, she now has his blood on her hands.
As a matter of fact, if you go back to Stiletto, it was the scene in which Chloe was throwing out the red & blue garbage bags that she was shown having blood on her hands. Some said that scene was representative of Chloe throwing her friendship with Clark in the trash. I think it's representative of that, plus what I originally said that those bags represent Clark as the future one who will die thanks to Doomsday and the blood Chloe had on her hands in that very scene is symbolic of Clark's blood which she will have on her hands.
Something very bad is going to happen. I wouldn't even rule suicide out after guilt she will have based on what happens to Clark because Chloe played the role of a god and thought she was qualified to make Clark's decision.

Great points and I for one hope that these dark, gloomy episodes go away. Superman should inspire us, not make us puke. We don't need all of this blood and cut up body parts in trash bags and trails of blood with a dismembered Clark hanging in a basement. It's too much. Suicide wouldn't surprise me with the way these writers are going. I'd like a little sunshine as soon as possible.

Because he stood there and let Chloe guilt trip him into not doing what he should have done.

yes sir.
there's something very arrogant about Chloe just helping herself to the keys to the Fortress and overriding Clark. a little time in the Phantom Zone would have helped her get her head straight about who calls the shots.

Its not like she hasn't gone to the fortress before. Why is this time different? She has gone there herself on more then one occation...(asking Jor-el to give kara back her memories... Saving Clark from Zod) was it wrong for her to do it then? Each time it was to save clark. In her mind she is still trying to save him. Even if she is wrong its not like she is intentionally going there to do something bad to him.

She has elevated herself above Clark. That's why I have turned against her character. She is not a team player; wants to be in charge and won't obey her superiors. Oliver is her employer and she ignored him and almost caused his death. She is in truth a vigilante and trusts no one to help her, including the Man of Steel. She may think she's saving someone but she is endangering everyone. She is the problem, not the solution. She is a legend in her own mind.
