Who else thinks that the scene where CK trashes the cabinet was a little under exadrated? (sorry for spelling)

I thought the pink filing cabinet looked kind of like a card catalog, but it probably wasn't. That was awesome how he smashed it! The phone was protected because it was in his invulnerable hand, so it wasn't damaged when he smashed the filing cabinet. That makes perfect sense, right? (Superman is so destructive!)

but wouldnt he squeeze or clench his fist when he's gonna hit something thus destroying the phone.... well i guess it really doesn' t matter

Finally! It's been a long time coming, but Clark lets out realistic frustration and owns Isis filing cabinet haha...this is a rather a small thing, but I enjoyed this only because every time I feel for his frustration he just bottles it up and we get the closing Clark gaze..all i know is if I had super strength I would have alotta broken furniture everytime I got frustrated.....also Sprint's probably got him covered every time he smashes his cellphone against those filing cabinets...

I meant that Tom Welling seemed to look like he put everything he had into that punch, i just think that the filing cabinet could have been more trashed then it was. Not a big deal i suppose but i loved the scene. I laughed my ass off when it happened

Nice to see him let his emotions out.

I thought that was pretty cool. He was so upset that he didn't know what to do with himself so he took his frustration out on the cabinet. That is the side of Clark I love to see.

Clark was ANGRY and for a change he let it out...I jumped a little bit, then rewound it to watch it again. And again. And again. And maybe a few more times  Every time I watch it now I'm like "Wooohooo!" cos it's actually kinda cool to see Clark do that. TW looked like he really put a lot of anger into that.

I agree. When I saw how angry he was and what looked like a whole lot of strength, I kinda felt like the wall should no longer be there, let alone the cabinet. I mean heck, when he sneezes he breaks down a barn door. Full blown slam of the fist should have done a little more damage:lol:

I loved the "Hulk Smash" of the filing cabinet. Clark's display of emotions was priceless. And, Pink is so not my color!

Judy is right. Now maybe Chloe can bring a cabinet with a different colour. Why she kept Lana's decoration of the place i don't know.

i thought it was siiiick! btw how much you people wanna bet that zod is coming back since clark opened the PZ portal he escaped secretly. ;)
I loved that scene. Clark was pissed, but not at Chloe. He was pissed because she's gone and anytime Chloe is "dead" or dying or gone he loses his mind.

And we could have gotten Clark's reaction. It would be like FIST! - crash, through the floor - crash, through the next floor - boom, hits basement floor and Clark could just be standing there with a startled "Oh %^$^" look on his face.

I actually liked seeing Clark venting off some steam for a change. He always holds back on everything he feels.

It was a pretty awesome part of that scene, though I still wonder... what was that file cabinet actually made out of for it to crumple like that when Tom Welling hit it? It looked pretty convincing.

Heck, I was thinking the same thing when he crushed it. I thought he would have kept on bashing it in until it was the size of a waste basket or something.

I LOVED seeing Clark express his emotions instead of bottling them up inside. I just absolutely loved it. There have been SO MANY times in this show I have expected some show of frustration or anger and it just hasn't been there. This was totally refreshing. Am I nuts or is TW just in general showing more and more varied emotions? He did this thing with his mouth when Ollie came in and started to lecture him, that conveyed so much of Clark's effort to not lose it on Ollie while he was being lectured, it was just a little facial gesture, but really conveyed a lot. AWESOME stuff.
As for the filing cabinet, I gotta say I agree with the peanut gallery...it should have ended up down into the foundation with a few floors of surprised faces staring down into an empty hole. I would give a million bucks to hear Clark explain his way out of that one!

He held back. A punch like that would have crushed it like a soda can. I agree that it was great to see Clark have a natural reaction to Chloe not being up front with him and it does show how much he cares about her.

I enjoyed it, too. Despite the fact that it was nice to see Clark display an emotion other than guilt and sorrow. Plus, if I had all this power, I'd definitely smash something once in a while.
As for the decorations, well, Isis WAS founded by Lana Lang...So... ;) :D:rotfl:
