Hey, all.

My local CW station (KDAF-33) played this episode pretty good, with two notable exceptions. The screen format is still in the chopped-off, full-frame version, and the sound kept cutting out during the last 5 minutes or so (right after Jimmy and Oliver's conversation).

So, did anyone experience any difficulties with the transmission? If so, what were they? If not, does anyone have the complete dialogue from the last 5 minutes?

I wrote a thread saying the same thing, only my problem was at the beggining. Right after Chloe went down to the basement and saw the roses, bam, transmission interrupted. Missed the dialogue and image, also the Save me intro. Can anyone recap for me?

My screen kept fading in and out... I thought it was my TV but maybe not (I've never had that problem before).

Can't give you the exact dialogue but it was really deep, in a Smallville stardard point of view. Clark saying to Chloe it wont work, is her life she is sacrificing, blah blah. She then says this is her opportunity to really do something for the greater good. That was preety much, then Clark said "f-u-c-k Davis" as he hit the drawer....hahahaha...kidding.

I have had audio problems with every episode this year...With the possible exception of the Lana episodes and I didn't care enough to pay that close attention during them. Most of the episodes this year have also had a few visual problems, but audio is the main problem for me. I use DishNetwork Satellite.

The opening needed sub titles on my TV. The dialogue was a full three seconds ahead of the video. Or was it the other way? Anyone else have that problem?

There is always audio glitches/skips on any show I watch on the CW.

Tonight every time during commercial breaks there would be a black screen for two minutes.

I have Time Warner cable so I always experience odd problems. I swear the company is actually regressing. Forever Smallville was broadcasted in widescreen but lately it and Supernatural are broadcasted in fullscreen with the edges actually cut off.

I don't believe that I have seen this subject before, but maybe I just missed it. For most of the episodes in the last year or two, I have hated the sound. I find it extremely annoying when the background sound drowns out what the characters are saying - often in low whispers. Last night was a prime example. In the beginning, a song was playing which may or may not have been good - but not when you have to strain to hear what is being said by the characters. My wife notices the same problem, and we have to replay sequences over and over, reading lips, etc. to figure out what is being said. I guess I could turn on captioning but that is distracting too. I own all of the DVDs and the sound was never a problem previously. Is there a new person in charge of the sound mixing? Why does the show need blaring sound in the background of every scene?

I noticed it in the first scene, but after that it was OK...maybe someone really blew it this week, I haven't noticed it a constant problem on the show or DVDs...

The sound cut out temporarily during the last scene of Jimmy/Ollie, the screen went a little fuzz but it fixed itself within a couple seconds.

Ya'll were lucky... I suffered a commercial break in the middle of the Chloe/Davis scene, right after she met with Dr Hamilton in his car, and Davis confronted her on the street.
