I suppose the air friction could cause heat buildup, but when he got to the arctic he should have cooled down. However I don't think the air friction affects him, otherwise his red jacket would have burned up or unraveled a long time ago.
Not to mention the boot leather he would wear out.

Ollie --- someday Clark is going to swat you like a fly. I actually like Ollie, alot, but he is getting really crappy treatment by the writers these days. Some scenes he's great (with Jimmy) but in others he's a total loser (with Clark).

OMGoodness his acting was phenomenal! Not only did he look gorgeous, he (for lack of a better term) acted his tail off! I love him anyway, but it was extra special seeing him this time around - he gave such an emotional performance and I loved every minute of it.

I'm consoling myself with that thought. It's the only possible explanation. I cannot remember the episode, but I recall once when I thought his lipstick was darker than the lady he was sharing the screen with (think it was Lana) and I have seen several SV promos where he looks like a lipstick model. I am willing to bet the makeup ladies just get carried away - wouldn't you if you were allowed to play with those gorgeous lips?
