That is, if the real Lex was ever hurt at all. Clark wasn't & he didn't have powers when the Fortress came crashing down on him. He was as vulerable as Lex. So Lex should have been able to walk away & set up that entire vegetable thing as a hoax.

This is actually a great theory and if they do ever bring Lex back I hope they play on this theory.

Except that he's not. Lex is Sageth. Even if he never shows his face again on the show, we'll always know he's still there. He's the most important obstacle in Clark's life and too smart to get murdered by Green Arrow.

Just for even MENTIONING Dr. Helen Bryce (one of my favorite recurring characters from earlier seasons), I had to go with that option, though there were plenty of other humorous choices to pick from.
