I thought Claire's blood cures death? Like instantly?

That fell into some plot hole sometime ago, apparently.
I don't think they forgot but Nathan was dead when they got there so it's not like Claire's blood can bring back someone from the dead, it can bring you back from the brink of death or from being seriously injured, but I didn't think it would bring someone back once they'd been dead for a bit....

Hmmm...because clearly it would have taken more time for Parkman to send out a mass Whammy to call Claire upstairs and open up a vein than it did for Noah to have his brains splattered all over the road, loaded up, cleaned up, transported back to the company facility in texas from California and hooked up to a Claire IV to bring him back to life...yep...not enough time...

Quoted for truth.
I think it was just convenient for them to forget about Claire's blood.

Truthfully, I'm glad they didn't go with the whole Claire's-blood-healing-Nathan route. For starters, I wasn't crazy about the plot point in the first place. If Claire can give her blood to anybody, then nobody has to die. I rather it be a your dead so stay dead kinda thing. I know it goes against what they've already said in the show, but that wouldn't be the only plot hole. (btw plotholes don't seem to phase me anymore) And in order to revive Nathan, you would have to find Claire, find a needle, take the blood and then take it all the way back to Nathan. Where is there a needle close by anyway?
Maybe Angela thought ,in some twisted way, by turning Sylar into Nathan that she could kill two birds with one stone. Think about it. First of all, she was horrified at the sight of Nathan's death, but in her dream she saw Matt Parkman save him. She said herself earlier that she can't change the future, just help start the events that make the future happen. I'm not sure I exactly buy all of that, but maybe it just has something do with her character trying to fullfill her dreams, because she thinks she has to. Also, by doing this she ensures that Sylar is kept under wraps. I do understand, though, that Angela should be smart enough to know that this will not be permenant, but I think it was just because she was distraught over Nathan's death that she wasn't thinking straight. Next season, we'll probably see her struggle over the choices that she's made.

She said she can't change the future she dreams about. When she said that she was lying. She can change it. She changed it when she was in her car and dreamed that she was being captured by Danko's team then she woke up and got out the car and that changed the future.

What!? that's what I was thinking too and all you guys saying she can't bring people back from the dead is bull come on Noah got shot in the face! He was dead for hours until they injected him with the blood, I hate the way they forget about all those loop holes.

Guys, they made it so that next season Claire will become suspicious of "Nathan", Sylar will start remembering his memories, and when Claire finds out he isnt Nathan she will just hate Noah like every other season. Claire and Peter will figure out Nathan is dead, and find his corpse. Claire will just use her blood to bring Nathan back. The three of them will just get pissed at Angela and Noah, and all of them will have to deal with Sylar figuring out who he is and wanting revenge. They never kill off characters so i took Nathans death with a grain of salt.

But it doesn't make any sense!!!!! Noah knows for damn sure that Claire could have SAVED Nathan then and there. Why go through all the hoopla of making Matt do his thing and risk Claire hating him for life? Not only did he save Sylar's life but he could have just killed her biodad from his nonaction with her blood. Plus, wouldn't Angela have rathered to have her REAL son and not Sylar play acting as Nathan? Then lastly, IF Claire's blood didn't work then Peter could have always posed as Nathan to stop the whole government hunting them thing.

maybe Quinto wants out and this way they can bring him back later if they want to.

The season finale was filled with so many holes, you need to be able to fly just to get to the other side.
Ridiculous writing.

I think TPTB prefer to ignore V2 as much as possible, which is a lame attitude if you ask me. :/

I thought the same thing in a earlier episode.
