Consequences of Chloe's laptop being stolen

I remember Clark saying he hoped that nothing was seen on Chloe's laptop when it was stolen. I'm wondering if the pictures of the Justice League being seen by the gang could be a problem in the future?

Some people only need a moment to see a face and recognize it later. I think the last JLA member was Impulse and he will be coming back and may be recognized.

I don't think the pictures of the Justice League would be shown on the laptop screen for no reason.

Chloe didn't have a good start as Watchtower with putting the JLA at risk. I know it wasn't her intention but still it wasn't a good move to use her laptop for the JLA. This could be a potential diaster in the future if the Intergang actually remember those faces. I guess it will be wait and see in future episodes.

That's a good point. Especially the part about Bart's face being last and him appearing in the finale. (Even though I hate spoilers. :mad:;))

Still, though, at least we won't have any identity reveals. I doubt they got the names.

Except for Clark, which will present a problem if they do a RBB vs. Intergang arc next season... :eek:

I don't think that they saw the information on the scene. They didn't load it onto a flashdrive or anything like that either so I don't think there will be any consequences to Chloe's actions.

I Clark's picture wasn't in that laptop, but they did see his Daily Planet press pass and they know who he is. Also, the other goon was working on Chloe's laptop while Ugly kicked Clark so he had time to see and/or copy some information. But, I guess, they would have showed it on screen. I guess we'll have to wait until S9 to see how this unfolds.

What consequences? Another bone-head move to get vital info like that on a laptop of all things! Chloe's head isn't where it needs to be.

Dumb like using the laptop for JLA files? Well, yeah, it's risky, but she never figured it would be compromised (OK, who does?). Clark said ,"...at least it was encrypted?" It was, but not unhackable according to Chloe, so she did take some measures. Poor judgment, perhaps, but dumb, no.

And maybe I'm still missing one other thing...what was the point of car-jacking Chloe to begin with? What did the mob guys expect to get, who did they think she was? She's still just "blondie" to them, and happened to leave a laptop where they got their hands on it.

One of the bad guys said they were making everyone aware that their gang was a force to reckon with in Metropolis and didn't want anyone to forget it so they stole the car and the laptop happened to be in it. The plan was probably to rob others as well but got caught instead.

In Smallville they have an episode where certain things are revealed and seemingly forgotten but then all of a sudden it comes back to bite someone in the butt. I believe this is one of those times. Believe it or not but this theft of the laptop is going to cause trouble to the JLA in the future, imo. If it is forgotten, then I'll be the first to say I was wrong.

Other than seeing Bart's face they weren't shown getting far with the laptop. So unless they retcon this next season (if they introduce Intergang) like they retconned the explosion of Chloe's safehouse in Gone, I don't think there will be significant consequences. The Bart profile didn't blatantly say that he was a hero.
