like i said is lois a little jealous of clark or more a surprised because in the episode she she he is "doing way better than anyone expected", did she mean her or the editor, im assuming it meant her, and well i dont know how she meant it, maybe she was surprised by his strides in journalism, or maybe she was a little jealous that hes doin well, and she had to make up a story??? to be honest im just wondering what everyone else thinks from her, from my view i think it a bit of both...she surprised but a little a jealous...

i dont think shes jealous i think shes more surprised
and maybe a little taken aback because Lois usually gives credit where credit is due but its hard for her face up to Clark after things from Bride all the way up to now.
She wants to keep her walls up and admitting he's good at something is probably hard for her to do right now.

Lois is not jealous, I think she doesn't want to admit just how good Clark is at anything because it brings her right back to her feelings. He gorgeous, her best friend, good at what he does, and is always giving her mixed signals. She doesn't want to notice him because then she go right on teasing him cause he is just plain old plaid wearing Clarkie!
Traditionally, Lois Lane does tend to become jealous of Clark Kent when he joins the Daily Planet and despite his homely appearance and mild-manner persona excels rather rapidly as a reporter, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some underline jealousy.

In the comics, Lois and Clark are known for being competitive. While Lois loves Clark, I'm sure she's a little nervous that the new copy boy (that she's been making fun of for the last few episodes) is making a name on his own so quickly. Of course, he has an obvious advantage, he can report metropolis' daily crimes because he gets there while things are still happening. They have that dynamic in the comics, too. I think that, in the comics, Clark wrote the first Superman exclusive and Lois was quite mad at him that he scooped her.

I don't think Lois is jealous, she's just frustrated that her career is stalling at the moment.

probably that and she was definitely feeling the job pressure at the beginning of the episode stating that she's only as good as her last article. Plus add onto that the fact that Lois was giving Jimmy advice to throw himself into his work in order to forget his heartbreak and you can make the tangent connection to Lois' own work fueled intensity and avoiding all those repressed feelings about Clark. Plus Clark is always the picture of intense calm and never has really shown Lois himself in panic mode, so his success and relative "easy" approach to his work are all irritating reminders to her of why opposites attract.
