How did Clark deal with the paramedics? I mean Lois would have stuck by him and wanted to go in the ambulance... so what happened?

Police could have held her back to question her making it possible for him to "go to the hospital and get a patch up done" OR the same doctor's that worked on Martian Manhunter could have "worked" on Clark.

Offscreenville holds the answer to many mysteries. Most of which are things TPTB have a hard time explaining.
On the issue at hand though, i expect Clarked healed almost instantly when he left the room and i guess he made one of his legendary half-baked excuses to get away from the inevitable explanations...
