Last thing I remember was Clark saying was that Ollie was going to take care of it. Now Ollie is in Syria? Nobody wanders about Davis's body disapering?

I wondered about that too
You think Ollie wouldnt mention it "mysteriously disappearing."

Unless the body was covered or something, and Davis made a switch...so Ollie would just assume it was him.

I dont know....or we could chalk it up to typical smallville.
Where Shelby is a girl....and bearclaws are weird pieces of bread that look like a claw.

That was one thing that completely slipped my mind until this post. Wow, chalk it up to another Smallville plot hole.

I wondered that the moment Davis appeared in her basement....unless Davis allowed himself to be buried and then broke out later with no one knowing....after all, Ollie has no way of knowing Davis is immune to kryptonite.

That could have set up some cool scenes. Ollie just buried him in a corn field (Davis style) and as Ollie drives away a hand shoots up out of the dirt. (Carrie style) Later when they find the dismembered goon in the dumpster, (behind the Talon no less) Clark starts to wonder. Then he visits an empty hole in the field and confirms Davis is alive.

I guess Davis could have left after he was barried or something. I hope Ollie mentions next ep other wise it will just be another plot hole.

I'm just waiting to see Ollie's reaction when he gets jumped by the dead guy.
