Even though some people say this was just a filler episode, I personally loved it. So let's not dwell on the bad parts of this episode...let's list all the good parts with a short sentence description of it.
I'll start with a couple.
1. Bruno Mannheim - It's good to see that there is a strong base for the show after Doomsday.
2. The Real Jim Shady - Guess who's back? Back again. Jimmy's back. Tell a friend.
I was never a huge Jimmy fan, but I loved him in Turbulence, so I'm happy he's back.
3. Justice League Tease - I'm getting excited...
Your turn. And yes, I realize I fully turned off half of you with #2.:\

Next to last scene with Clois in DP - loved it b/c it for Lois's reaction
Final scene - loved it for Clark's reaction
put those two scenes together and it's like a Reece Cup

I don't get how it's a filler. If the show is about Clark's journey towards superman that includes the development with his relationship with Lois. The show laid some foundation to that in terms of how she relayed her concerns about RBB to Clark and concerned about him feeling isolated and alone, and for Clark to hear that allows him to begin to wonder if he can be connected when he is saving world. It also set up how he is eventually named superman. So to me, it is part of the journey.
And the commercial for Rogue was pretty good too.
I chose all of them except for the Chloe/Davis angle. I love Chloe and Davis but this episode was rather empty on that storyline which I don't blame since it was busy with the whole Lois/Bruno stuff.

I guess it's a filler if it's not Chloe-centric.
No filler here - definitely progressing the Lois and Clark relationship, and of course the distress Chloe is in by making poor decisions and not telling Clark; how that initially bad decision is just growing worse by the episode.

My favorite part was the when Clark was shot Lois was crying and Jimmy was so shocked and confused. It took me back to "Identity" when Jimmy thought Clark was the RBB... but that could be that I saw that episode during my workout today lol...

the only scene that was good in this episode was doomsday killing aj, the rest sucked, and not because it was not a chloe centric episode it was just too cheesy and felt like a soap opera.

Two little touches I liked.
The red/blue note paper (LOL!)
And, even though Clark wasn't going to be seen by Lois, I loved that he got dressed in the 'uniform' to talk to her as the Blur.

Bluretto...:D From that moment on I knew I'd love this episode.
The actor playing Bruno was PERFECT IMO. He looked like a younger version of who he will one day turn out to be. Seriously Smallville nails its casting every time.
The CLOIS was great to see, as always.
The trio kicking butt was nice to see as well. Its been a while since they've all been together.
Not a big fan of the Chloe/Doomsday stuff in this episode, but it was necessary to tie in to the rest of the season and progress that storyline. I really felt sorry for Chloe though, and I hope she gets herself out of that situation...of course then they go on and show the preview for next week and well it doesnt look like thats gonna happen.

The ending made the episode for me...especially the pay phone conversation with Clois. I also liked Clark getting shot and Lois coming to his aid.

That's not why Stiletto was a filler episode. Stiletto was filler because the A-plot of the season- Doomsday- took a back seat to the antics of Lois.

everyone sees it in their own way, anyway, and first half of a season, Doomsday certainly wasnt A-plot, yet i havent really heard alot of people calling Prey as a "filler", even tho it didnt really match the episodes surrounding it, but it was great and enjoyable episode, setting up Doomy plot, thats why it wasnt filler, why has the epi, in which is set equally as important plot for the future ("triangle for two", Bruno, Jimmy/Clark/Lois team, more of Clarks double identity dilemma) AND progressed Doomy plotline (well, a little, but atleast its here) , be considered as a "filler" ? Lois was even basically lectured by all three, Clark, Chloe and Jimmy, that it wasnt exactly right to make up a hero just for the story, which was what almost all fans wanted (regardless of loving or hating Lois character).
I could hardly qualify this epi as a filler. People may not like it, but its different from being a filler imho, just because i didnt exactly like Abyss, i wouldnt call it filler, even tho the most important thing of this epi was 2 episodes later completely reversed, making this epi not that important in any of major plots so far, maybe we will get referece to Abyss soon enough.

Usually Clois would get my vote but this time I have to say the Kent/Lane/Olsen Crime Fighting was the best part. Gave me that warm fuzzy feeling of what to expect in the future from this crime fighting trio and I LOVED THAT!

Clois was awesome. And Clark saving the day without his abilities was the highlight for me. Also the episode ended with a Clois (or rather RBlois) moment that was really sweet and full of what will be in store for them in their future.

That's not why Stiletto was a filler episode. Stiletto was filler because the A-plot of the season- Doomsday- took a back seat to the antics of Lois.
Clark's fight with Doomsday might be the A-plot this season, but his relationship with Lois, his future wife (can't say that often enough), is one of the mainplots of Clark's entire journey. And since Souders teased that Clark and Lois' relationship will play a major part in the finale as well, I don't get why any episode that builds up to that is supposed to be useless.
But to each their own I guess.

My favorite scene was when Lois/ Jimmy / and Clark were fighting the gansters. It was a beautiful moment to me. Very iconic. When Clark took that bullet for Lois even when he was kryptonite sick- wow!
^^^ Yep. It kinda made me realize that sometimes not being spoiled for certain scenes makes them a bit more enjoyable.

Bluretto...:D From that moment on I knew I'd love this episode.
Same here, as we suspect it, it seems writers read us:p. I find this very cute to add this in the epi.
I like a lot the way Lois tries to recognize she can make mistakes, it is so rare. It adds something new to her character for people who doubt she can be a good person. I mean we often think she is only conceited but she isn't. First, I was really stunned and worried about the way she acts like everything worths to have an article. It was not the Lois Lane I want to see. The end and the way she shows her feelings even and especially with Clark was a relief and a true joy.
And what to say about Clark ? THIS MAN IS JUST PERFECT:pI like him so much in Stiletto. He was a true hero in the way he acts, he feels for others,...like usual but he is just better and better on this way:)

I absolutely love the fact that Lois got to see Clark saving her.
Yes, she's fascinated by the Blur, as she should be considering, but Clark was her 'superhero' in this episode and while WE know they are one and the same, she doesn't.
I loved when she and Jimmy were helping him out and she said "Come on superhero, you're gonna be fine."
And Clark looked at her when she called him a superhero...sweet.

Clois's interaction with the phone call from the RBB takes my vote but,Clark/Lois/Jimmy fighting gangsters was super cool too.
