i thought he was buying drugs. At the beginning recap of the episode, they showed the nurse giving him his pills saying, they can be addictive, so i'm assuming that was a clue for him being a druggie, now.

Yeah i think it was pills too going off of the pills the nurse gave him that she said can be addictive. Poor Jimmy, hopefully he gets his act together soon.
