Based on how we last left Jimmy, I think we're up for some more dark Jimmy in this episode.
How did you enjoy his scenes tonight?

Im glad Jimmy's got his own thing going! But like Kal El 12 said it's come too late, so im kinda disappointed about that. The whole drug thing doesnt really bother me. It's tying in very well the this seasons darkness. But his addiction wont last. He'll bounce back..he's Jimmy Olsen!!

It sucks that Jimmy has become a drug addict, but at least he has an interesting storyline for once.

Agreed.
Don't love it completely but I'm glad he finally has his own independent arc. Same with Lois and her RBB quest. Finally some development for both of those iconic characters! :)

I think AA is doing a terrific job as this edgier Jimmy hooked on drugs, who's life has fallen apart because his wife made devastating choices. But I'm so sad for the guy.:( I MUST have Jimmy Olsen around next season!! I must! A drug free, CANON Jimmy Olsen!
I hate that Jimmy has turned to drugs,I don't like it at all.I miss the happy go lucky Jimbo we all know and love.I wonder how they will redeem his character.

I'm not particularly sold on this Jimmy arc but then again I don't know a whole lot about it. Was that Jimmy giving money to a group of people just for his wallet? I didn't quite "get" that scene. If someone wants to explain what exactly we saw in this scene then I would be appreciative.

It was great to see jimmy's character deepened, he's still the same jimmy (photographer jimmy) but with a "slight" drug problem LOL

I don't mind the storyline, but I think it got too bogged down on what was going on in the moment. It was more like an afterthought. However, I hope they give Aaron more screen time in the next episode or two to address the issue wholeheartedly rather than it being relegated to a last minute mention.

Jimmy got addicted to painmeds when he was recupperating from his attack with Doomsday from Bride and now I guess after Chloe left him he has given up on life and has turn to drugs I guess.

I hate that Jimmy Olsen is now a drug addict. I wanted him to have his own storyline - but this? Really? I DO loved that he saved Lois though. She came through for him, he came through for her, and then she came through for him again. That was the best part of his storyline in this episode, IMO.

I agree.
I hate, HATE what they are doing with him. But hey, doesn't surprise me that they're totally crapping on his character.

I definitely don't like what they are doing with his character, they are putting him on a slippery slope, is he going to go to rehab eventually? That last scene of his was downright dark, meeting scuzzy dealers in the alley paying for drugs with counterfeit money. Now there is going to be kryptonite bills kicking around metropolis. Tsk tsk.

I know! I thought after his scenes with Lois and Clark, he would turn around and try to get his life back on track. I was severly disappointed to see him take the drugs and walk away, with a clearly unhappy look on his face. Why does Jimmy Olsen have to be taking this dark path? Ugh!

I'm not a fan of a pill-popping, bar-tending Jimmy right now. I like how he was in "Identity", entering even more into his classic DP self with getting to be closer friends with Clark.
This is a gloomy set up for him, I can feel it.

Yeah, this just seems like a horrible story arc that doesn't even really fit his character. Quite frankly, while I know that it is possibly to get hooked on hospital drugs, it still is a rare occasion. I hope this story doesn't get way out of hand. I want to see Jimmy back at the Daily Planet but I can totally bet that next season, Jimmy will get caught up with Intergang again and Clark will need to save him again.

I just hope they use the connections Jimmy's making in the criminal world during the course of next season. That could develop into something really interesting.
Aaron is definitely pulling this darker Jimmy off, though. I will say that.

Hate it. First he gets shredded by Doomsday, then his marriage falls apart, and now they make him a druggie. Absolutely hate it. I mean there's dark, and then there's pitch black. Give me the Blur chasing, wide-eyed, eager, lovable Jimmy we saw in Identity please!

I love this Jimmy storyline. I don't mind seeing him go down a bad path, because it gives him a struggle, and it gives him a chance to bounce back. Also, Aaron really has an intensity that he can bring to the character. When Jimmy told Chloe that he was done with her, that was a great scene. Jimmy tasting the hard side of life with his addiction is great too. Brilliant edge. If he stays in Hell, it wont be a good storyline, but it is good for him to visit for a while.
Go Jimmy!

He obviously is in a very dark place now but i don't really mind whatever they do with him. As long as he doesn't go dark. Jimmy has always been a very good character and a hopeless romantic. I hope he snaps out of it soon.

Reading comics as a kid, there's noway I could ever see Jimmy becomong a dope head down the road.
And as far as dark goes...........I see Jimmy snatched up a wad of the counterfiet bills to pay for his drugs. Lots of free money= OVERDOSE in his case

I don't like what they are doing to Jimmy's character but I love Jimmy. He, Clark and Lois were always my favorite characters in the Superman stories. I was just happy he was in an episode.

Jimmy needs drugs to make his life seem like a dream because it has been on LONG nightmare. I suggest he switch to booze, that way he gets a killer hangover for even more suffering.
What a horrible storyline. BAD,BAD,BAD. If this is all they've got for him, let his character leave town and take the Arrow with him to free up some money for more special effects.

they need to bring back season 6's happy-go-lucky "ring that bell" Jimmy. This Jimmy has too many problems. I'm not even a superman/comics fan and i can recognize that they're dragging this classic character thru the mud.

Just wanted to comment that I LOVE Jimmy - on't like this storyline but anytime he has screentime, I'm thrilled. I actually loved every one of his scenes up until that last one... I'm just hoping he comes back from the dark side and soon!!

Kinda lame. It also does nothing for Jimmy's character.
