Odd options. "Another one?" and "Yet again?" That means there's no way for someone to vote on her performance solely in this episode.

as usual erica performed wonderfully. To be honest her best moment was when clark was shot, the concern on her face was genuine and very sweet.

She did an incredible job. When Lois had Jimmy taking pictures of her she had me laughing so hard I was in tears. Then when Clark was shot, the tears and worried look she gave him just broke my heart. In other words, she really hit the ball out of the park in this one:D

I can't quite put my finger on it but there was something different about Erica Durance's acting during her interaction with Chloe in her apartment. I know she was trying to have a heart to heart talk with her but to me there was something off about her. Anyone else notice?

It was the writing that was off not the acting. There was a set up for a real heart to heart talk and Chloe was about to confess and then she just stopped, like literally halted and said nothing and moved onto Jimmy in the Ace of Clubs. I really wished that Caroline Dries would have dipped more into the Chlo-Lo in this episode since they really did have a chance. When Lois admits to being wrong, they could have discussed that more even without Chloe confessing because it was just another parallel in the story, Chloe like Lois has made a really bad choice. Sigh. The writing was rather subpar for a good portion of the episode...only the ending rescued it for me, really...

This was a great episode, the only thing that cheapened it a little was the fact that:
Do we have to make every ffing character on the show a martial artist/superhero????
Because everybody else has already done this over the course of the show, it was sort of depressing to think going in "Oh great this is Lois's Superhero Ep". With that said it was handled really well and the payoff at the end where Clark sets up the call was great.
The first Superman/Lois Lane conversation....and they really nailed the classic chemistry
Edit: And damm Lois looked good:eek:...my tongue was on the floor just about every scene she was in

I wonder if it was foreshadowing for the finale? (Her crying over clark's body)

Oh man, I really hope so because Durance really delivered in that scene! Good catch if it comes true! :D

Average. She wasn't great, but she wasn't horrible, either. I don't think anything could top her performance in Siren last season.

I thought she did an outstanding job because of the range she of emotions that she had to portray and did them flawlessly.
BTW: Did Lois look stunning at the beginning trying to get in to the awards ceremony or what? Her hair looked darker - she looked amazing.

I loved her in that episode she kicked ass!!! If I could play someone in a character like as a superwoman that would be soooo cool to do that except I would want more fighting involved :)

She looked so stunning throughout the episode. Really, I haven't felt she's looked this beautiful since Bride. :o There were so many looks (sexy, sweet, beautiful, etc) and each one was just wonderful. Erica Durance is so pretty. :D

Erica was amazing, especially in the scene where Clark takes the bullet for Lois.
She just knocks every scene out of the park and she's got such range as an actress. I'm running out of superlatives to describe her.

YES! She look absolutely gorgeous. I love her look this season.

I was very nervous about how it would go. I knew it had to be written well but tonight I realized that no matter how it was written, these two would blow us away. The chemistry is really palpable.

Kristin and Tom had good chemistry together, Allison and Tom have great chemistry together. Erica and Tom's chemistry? I can't measure it. They know how to play off each other really well. Clark telling Lois she would be the first to know when he is ready to out himself. His honest concern for her. His "That's why I have you" moment with Chloe, even though that scene didn't have Erica in it. Lois' concern for him. Her pain when he was shot. I can't name each part that had me amazed by Erica's and Tom's performances. I would have to say each and every part they were in was perfect.

She was very good. Quite different though. It was refreshing to see her totally intimidated by the RBB. She was more honest and without her usual "attitude". And her chemistry with TW is undeniable. No other character ever interacted with Clark so well.

ED had so many emotions and looks last night and they were all amazing. She looked amazing last night too. My favorite was the last scene at the DP because they are always my favorite, and because she showed so many emotions especially my favorite, tease and wink.
As for her scene with Chloe that someone mentioned was a bit off, I think it was different because she could tell that Chloe didn't want her there and was also feeling guilty because of what Clark had told her.

She did a fantastic job in this ep. I loved when she was all regretting what she did and her vulnerabilty was at it's best.
I don't always like Lois but in this ep Erica knocked it out of the park.

When she saw Clark took the bullet for her and suffers in pain on the floor, the way she panicked, started crying and did right away what he asked her to do (“You have to get me out of here”), ..... this scene completely got me.
Well, one thing for sure. When Lois cries, it makes me cry too. LOL

Yes! Completely she hit another one out of the ballpark!
Its a trend, everytime she is on screen she totally prooves why she is THE Lois Lane the star reporter and the owner of Clark's heart

The Stiletto thing wasn't, I agree, but I think the emotional part definitely was. She was awesome in the bullet scene and the scenes after that.

I can't quite put my finger on it but there was something different about Erica Durance's acting during her interaction with Chloe in her apartment. I know she was trying to have a heart to heart talk with her but to me there was something off about her. Anyone else notice?
To me the scene was driven by Allison, she had a knife to her throat and was about to get killed and then witnessed the terror of Davis/Doomsday pulling AJ away and probably heard him literally being torn apart. Couple those very two traumatic events with the fact that she's harboring Davis and keeping it from Clark, Oliver and the rest of the league, and she cannot discuss it with anyone including Lois, her behavior seemed perfect for the scene. The noise with the door is heard well before Chloe figures out it's Lois, and is genuinely shocked by her, then Lois has had unfortunate experience of being humiliated by her own actions and is trying to right them and her radar for picking up Chloe's oddness was lowered as well. Chloe gave Lois the "there must be a tequila shooter with your name on it" line and obviously wanted Lois to leave. Lois was asking what was wrong but Chloe was smart enough to play it off as being hurt and saddened over her failed marriage and still holding onto Jimmy thru the facebook references.
To me, Allison played the scene so well, that if you didn't know about Davis and all the gruesome truth, you would definitely buy that it was just relationship blues bothering her. Lois didn't get to see Chloe's face as she looked at herself in the mirror and didn't catch the whole scarf covering the scar trick she pulled.
Erica really nailed her scenes with Tom though and was so expressive in her non-verbal looks and glances...I swear she says more with her eyes and if Clark wasn't so clueless he could actually pick up her clues. That last scene in the DP was just scorching hot and so well done.
This cast is so talented! :)

To be honest, she was not at her best for me. I really find the Lois I like, funny, ...only when she was with Clark. Here, with the interaction, I recognize the Lois I am used to. But otherwise, it was not convincing. Especially, the first part. There was a lack of energy in the way she acts, I was really surprised. As Davidbrenton said in another topic, there are moments where Stiletto fails. IMO
