Sylar character development has so many twists and turns! It's great. You think you know what he'll do but then you just have no idea.

He's borderline psycho too - with his mom issues. And him loosing himself. I wonder if he'll find himself if he teams up with Micah.

Yeah...if they go with the "Micah can affect the nervous system" theory brought up with Monica back in season 2, Micah could feasibly "fix" Sylar's recent issues. I half-expected him to this episode. Micah also seems to be quite knowledgeable in Sylar's problems--was he perhaps spying on him?

Nah, he didn't know he was a shapeshifter...still though, he was spot-on with his analysis there.

I was actually very happy with Sylar choosing to save Micah. Zach Quinto has always done an amazing job of plating the character of Sylar, but this episode he really outdid himself. The emotional ranges that he played were great. I'm still slightly confused on Sylar's true agenda...although I guess that's how Heroes has always been...you never really know.

And now he's got schizophrenia. How great is that lol.

i think he is developing to a psyco and i thought he was one in season 1. The whole episode he was answering himself and that is a sign that he has something wrong upstaires.

He really has flipped his ever loving lid. The guy is nuttier than a squirrels turd.

This was a good character build for Sylar. Coping with his "mommy" issues, coming to terms with who he is, it was all great to see. But what I don't like is the tease or the play with him being a good guy. Sylar will never be a good guy. No matter what the writers do or tell us to think. We won't see Sylar as a good guy. Sure he let Micah live, but gave warning ..If he see's him again...he's dead.

he may not be a good guy... but he is true to himself... This is sort of the highlander series where one of them makes a pact with the watchers to kill ALL the immies...

Sylar did this, but in the end he is being played by Danko and he feels that when he is no longer useful... well.. he is getting the knife on the back of his head. And.. he did... So he knows he can't turn the back on himself.

Everyone is capable of good and evil... Its just not everyone has venture the venue of being totally evil and Sylar has not ventured being totally good.

The kid can hack into the Building 26 computers and read his case file. To paraphrase Noah, "He does that, you know?"

He should have thought that Sylar was dead then not that he was having problems with his new power.

At first Micah was like I know all about your problem and later he was surprised at what he was doing with his new power. That dosen't make sense. Either he knew or he didn't.

It was like one writer wrote one scene and then another writer wrote another scene.

I wouldn't doubt that he would think Sylar was dead. But when Sylar appeared before him he found out real quick that he wasn't.

As for the writers, they do that, you know? They have been awfully inconsistent lately.

You just said it. He was surprised about his "new" power. His case file wouldn't have his new power listed. lol

I knew they would switch characters from episode to episode but I didn't think they would do it between scenes but aparently I was wrong.

I don't know about you, but if I were Micah when he first saw Sylar, I'd need to change into some clean underwear!

sylar's case file is closed. isn't it? if sylar is supposed to be dead, then by putting nothing new into the file would make it look that way. so nothing new has been entered into the file to keep the appearance of sylar being dead. if micah read the file then he read everything up to sylar's death. but micah didn't seem surprised to find out that sylar was alive. maybe he just knew deep down inside that there was noway sylar could be dead.

also the entire time i kept thinking wow sylar is changing into norman bates from "psycho". next thing you know he'll be digging out his mother out of her grave and keeping her body in the basement.

Not sure what you are refering to but the question that was raised was:

Micah also seems to be quite knowledgeable in Sylar's problems--was he perhaps spying on him?

So it would make perfect sense that Micah (at one time or another) had read Sylar's case file and was able to use it to his advantage. The naive kid actually thought he could help Norman-- Er, I mean Sylar.
