Hey gang.

I am the guy that starts the weekly Chuck thread over at TrekBBS.com in the Science Fiction & Fantasy subsection. We were having a discussion to come up with a name for the fans of Chuck in last week's thread. Something akin to calling fans of Firefly "Browncoats". The last suggestion that was put forth was the one in this thread's title, "BuyMorians", taken from what Morgan named the store ("BuyMoria") when he was being questioned by Emmett many episodes back. I like it as it is something that is uniquely Chuck. If you like it too, pass it on. Let's get this spread around.

Also, this show is on the cusp of either survival or cancellation. To help save this great show, be sure to watch it again on Hulu.com. NBC is a major backer of Hulu, and each hit on Chuck there counts as a viewing as much as any Nielsen house does. So be sure to watch it again after it gets posted late tonight or early tomorrow.

The prob is with "BuyMorians" is that I don't usually care for the B story at the Buy More. Hum...

You need to actually watch the episode. But you can always run it in a separate tab in the background and with your sound turned down if you don't want to watch again. It counts because of the ads Hulu runs, one per normal ad break and usually just 15 seconds long.

LOL, BuyMorians just sounds funny to me and BuyMoria is only mentioned once, ya know? I like Nerd Herders better tho, that is Chuck's actual cover.

Has anyone else noticed a severe lack in Chuck fan sites and everything like that? Chuck is actually one of the best shows on TV in my honest opinion.

There are a few good fan sites. One for Zack and one for Yvonne and a couple others. But I can't link them or mention them here. I'm sure you can find them if you Google.

And yes, I like Nerd Herders, or Herders. Though I'm not overly anxious to label myself at all.

I am not that anxious to have a label put on me either :p. I watch the show, but usually have to catch up with it on Hulu (because I get home too late from class these days on Mondays). I am Chuck fan, just as I am a Star Trek fan (not a Trekkie or Trekker :p) or a Smallville fan.

Only mentioned once?

I notice you didn't correct yourself when the flag showed up in Emmett's office.

Well to be truthful I didn't correct myself because I haven't been here in months. If I had been I probably wouldn't have mentioned it anyway because really, Emmett? Considering in that scene Chuck told Emmett that he can take the job and the flag and shove it, I don't take that as a good argument to call our fanbase "BuyMorians". Emmett's BuyMoria looks like a scary place to be.

I still support Nerd Herders because at heart Chuck is a nerd. A heroic nerd, but a nerd none the less. It also kind of goes in line with Chuck's conversation with the other Nerd Herders about having a cool nickname for themselves in "Chuck vs the Tango".
