Bart, for sure! We saw him beat Clark, and Clark has to be WAAAAAY faster than Emily Dinsmore by now (besides, with her accelerated aging, she probably looks like Granny Dinsmore at this point), and Raya's abilities are about on par with Clark's... Therefore, Bart would win, hands down!

I think Emily was toast after Lionel got his hands on her. He referred to her as a colossal liability & after she killed Pete Dinsmore, there was nothing holding him back from killing her.

But yes, Bart would win since he has the Speed Force on his side.

Bart obviously. He has access to the Speed Force after all. In the comics, he achieved near light speeds even. If Raya was still alive she and Clark would be evenly matched (she didn't spend enough time on Earth which is probably why her power levels were still low when she died). Dunno about Emily. I'd say Clark was still quite young back then (Season 2). By now his power levels should have increased significantly and she shouldn't be able to beat him or even match him now.

Interestingly, pre-Crisis Superman could actually achieve faster-than-light speeds and even time travel. Back then he usually tied with the Flash (Barry) in races. Yes, Barry can actually run faster than light. :)

I'd hate that, I feel so sorry for him when I read the story. A perfect song to go with him for that story is 'The Ballad of Barry Allen' by Jim's Big Ego.

Imagine how long it takes for him to listen to someone. I don't know how he makes sense of the long stream of sound that is speech when he's standing in the watchtower listening to Superman etc. :confused:

He is awesome. Whilst Superman is sulking on the farm for 10 years, he is still out there helping people 24/7.

But it's still Bart for me. With a solar flare you've got to take the rough with the smooth - Clark is just as likely to slow down as speed up, making his performance very erratic - he'd be the proverbial hare! ;)

The role playing game I'm into (Heroes Unlimited) actually has two different categories of superspeed. They have what they call major powers and minor powers. The minor superspeed is just called "extraordinary speed" which I think is what most of the characters on Smallville have who can run fast have. The major superspeed is called "Sonic Speed" which is what I think Bart has. He's in a league all his own. By the way, how fast do you think Bart can run (in miles per hour)? In the game, Sonic Speed is equal to about the speed of sound (if memory serves).

I think it depends on who's writing the story. There are versions of the Flash-Superman race which are virtually dead even.
