I just watched Planet of the Dead (if not seen, watch it before commenting)....


and at the end the woman says The Doctor's end is coming and the 'man' will come and knock 4 times. To me this sounds like The Master and the druming he hears, what do you lot think?

Since this is the spoiler board, as for the Master being back... well, he's been spotted filming and if you check the "Spoiler a day" thread there's a pic in there that is believed to be him. Though he has also been seen since.

Though I'm still holding out for the return of Adric. ;)

Anyway, WellngFan, if you check out the "Doctor Who spoiler of the day Thread (http://www.kryptonsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92007)" you'll see another companion to those you've mentioned is definitely joining 10...

So all the past companions are coming back... haven't we already seen this? Haven't they used this gimmick before?

I really hope the new people who will work on season 5 realise that companions need to stick around, not pop in and out of the show, with all their character development happening off screen in between appearances.

what about the daleks the woman said "it is coming through the darkness...he will knock four times." in series for rose's warning was the darkness is coming but I agree with the master.Perhaps a dalek-time-lord hybrid

ooh new idea The Master's essence lives on in his ring in the stolen earth the security thing goes beep beep beep beep but in the master's tune also Donna's ring glows at the end of JE perhaps the regeneration energy causing the "instantaneous biological meta-crisis" also woke up the Master.Perhaps he saved Davros but i Don't care for the daleks TBH.The Master as only half-human is left in the paralell universe with half-human doctor and the return of half-human gallifrey.No the last bit is crap ignore it.

donna is coming back aswell :D catherine tate has been seen filming, && so has elisabeth sladen ( sarah jane ) and tommy knight ( luke smith )

its also been confirmed that bernard cribbins ( wilfred mott, donnas grampa ) it the official companion for the 2-part christmas special :)

although billie piper && freema agyemann havent been seen on set so i dnt think theyre actually coming back, but its always a possibility

This is just my own thoughts - the green ring looked very similar to the data ghosting chips in the library, and with Donna being half Timelord now and having the memories of the Doctor buried deep inside her brains, perhaps only another little jolt will bring them back. If she gets the Master's ring and through that he gets control over Donna, then he will not only have his own Timelord memories, but the Doctor's as well. Perhaps it will take all three "doctors" to defeat the Master this time. Maybe the Master is in the Library now with Riversong and is trying to get the out.
