I am from Texas (He claimed he was from Lubbock) and no one really talks like that here, that is a stereotype that really burns my britches.

I feel your pain, I'm from southern Louisiana and if I have to hear one more imitation 'cajun' accent I just might shoot the tv.

I'm from the New York state, but I really didn't notice much of a drawl.

The thing that struck me as odd was that the truck driver looks a lot like a freind of mine who is half Mexican and half (American) Indian. So I got a bit confused with Ando asking if the guy could speak Japanese.

i'm from texas too and i have run into asian people with southern accents. it's so funny to see and hear. i ran into a few around the houston area. when i saw that guy in the show i thought they had hired that asian redneck guy from the wwe.

Being from Georgia, I have gotten used to people overdoing the southern accent so it didn't bother me.
