Yeah, at the end of Quest, The small diamond piece was in the Clock at the Sanctuary, and Lex found the Orb Artifact hidden inside his Fireplace, and placed them together. And they merged and showed the location of the Fortress.

Was that both of them in the briefcase? I couldn't tell. Anyway, it could take Clark's powers away like in Arctic. But, wouldn't she have to be in the Fortress to activate it?

MM's Phantom Zone crystal was cut in half by the Persuader in Legion and Raya's PZ crystal was destroyed at the end of Phantom. They need another PZ crystal!!

i real confused the fortress was destroyed the pink sphere was placed on the crystals in the fortress????? besides that didn't the placing of the chip from the clock into the sphere that activated it how come it was in the sphere but it was not active??? that's smallville for yuh...

Its definitely the crystal that destroyed the fortress in Arctic, but it must need more batteries as it seems to be in one piece which means it should be glowing etc
