Clark's been lazy about disinfecting Brainiac from the fortress, now would be as great a time as any to do it. it's not like Davis would die in the zone or anything, he can go be with his parents, and you can send whatever's left of Brainy down the chute as well. One big happy family in hell.... Seems like a simple solution

OK now I'm confused.

I'm pretty sure the crystal that was cut in half is NOT the same item as the family shield Clark used to send Zod back. The shield was like a solid piece of greyish metal, while the crystal that was destroyed was red with some other metals housing it.

I think the crystal DID belong to MM, but I also thought Clark gave his shield to MM for safekeeping for awhile.

Somebody who remembers exactly can correct all of this. heh. But I do believe they are two different items.

clark can send doomsday to the zone if he finds out a way to get a phantom zone sender. like when he got his fortress crystal it sent him to the phantom zone so he might be able to figure out something to turn an object into a phantom zone portal. but also remember that doomsday is the ultimate learner. every time he dies he gets stronger everytime he is in a sistuation he evolves to handle it. when he goes to the phantom zone he will adapt to keeping all of his powers and strength and stuff and eventually will be able to break out. but im sure when he breaks out he would be full on doomsday and even stronger cause im sure he would of been killed a million times in the zone. guess we will have to wait and see.

The Martian's crystal used to send back Faora was sliced, Jor-El's crystal is missing in action. Wonder what ever happened to that thing??? I know he tried it on the Bizarro when he was still a phantom but haven't seen it since.

And I don't think he could ever break out on his own, but you may be right about him becoming unimaginably more powerful during the time. What about the process that disembodied the zoners? How long could that slow him down?

When Clark came face to face with Bizarro when he was inside the child, Clark held up the sheild as the phantom towards him, and there was an explosion. So its assumed it was either destroyed, or blasted out of Clarks hands into the damn.

If Clark had a way to fix the fortress, he would. He doesn't have some "Fortress of Solitude for Dummies" manual to magically fix it.

The "S" Crystal Clark got from Raya was destroyed in "Phantom". Clark tried to use it on Bizarro while he was still in wraith form, but Bizarro broke the crystal, stole Clark's form, and knocked Clark through a wall near some generators.

Persuader destroyed MM's crystal in the beginning of "Legion" by shattering it with his axe.

So to close. Clark doesn't have the knowledge or capability to fix the Fortress. He has nothing to send anyone to the Phantom Zone. This whole conversation is moot because Clark can't magically do the things people are saying.

If Clark had the "S" shield, I don't think he could send anyone but a phantom with it to the PZ (unless TPTB change that idea.) In "Static" of S6, I believe, Clark tried to use it on the bone marrow eating Zoner in Seattle. It didn't work, and the Zoner said, "I'm not a phantom."

But, perhaps Clark could find out how to do it if the FoS was up and running.

Guys, this is a thread that states what I've been trying to say. Now you guys have it all wrong, Let me explain how Kryptonian artifcats work. The Phantom Crystals only work on non-corpereal prisoners(phantoms). It sends them back the the PZ through the Crystal. If you want to transport a physical being into the PZ, youll need a PZ bracelet of the types Zod and Aethyr had. Or activate something in the Fortress consolewith a special crystal in order to open the dimensional portal necessary to send a prisoner in. Remember, Clark tried to used the first Crystal on Aldar and it didn't work because he still had his body. Think of soemthing like Brainiac's black virus crystal, but that works in reverse in order to open a portal. Also Black K may have been used to separate prisoners from their bodies and put them in the PZ as phantoms and allow that as a way for the crystals to send them back after possesing a body once they escaped, The black k "tags" them so the crystals will recognize them as a phantom and be able to send them back. I formed this theory after reading the fanfic Kryptonian Help on this site in the part where Dax-Ur theorizes that they can use Black K to separate DD from Davis Bloom.

Can't tell bu that still doesn't eliminate the threat. Doomsday will just grow back another body and will be immune to whatever turned him into a Phantom in the first place.

No. MM has his own crystal. The original crystal Raya got from Jor-El & gave to Clark was destroyed when Clark tried to use it on Bizarro in Phantom.

I agree, but don't know about the black-k thing. We have only seen it to seperate beings into their 2 sides (nature vs. nurture) so far. We haven't seen it seperating their spirit from their bodies yet. I would think something like the Water Stone was used but instead of switching spirits, it removed them.
