Wow. The reason for the breakup is that Chloe doesn't believe Jimmy and thinks he has gone insane.

She and Clark now both acknowledge that Jimmy was right and tried to warn them, and yet, both of them seem to just immediately shrug it off. It was like "Oh well, guess we missed on that one--let's just forget about drug-addicted Jimmy and move on to more important matters now that we know too".

If she really wanted Jimmy back, she could ask Clark to intervene on her behalf. However, neither of them now seems too concerned about the man who has been the most victimized by all of this (except those killed by DD of course). I guess Jimmy never was as important to Chloe as she claimed.

I don't think that is totally true. Yes they found out about Davis but so much happened between the time they found out about Davis to Davis being in that tank. I think Chloe will be the one to tell Jimmy that she was wrong.

I think Chloe also said that there were other problems brewing under the surface, problems that had nothing to do with Davis. Turbulence just brought everything out that has been there all along. They were both lying to each other, and the fact that Jimmy isn't willing to fight for Chloe or for Chloe to fight for Jimmy is very telling. I'm honestly surprised the writers had their relationship last that long. It was contrived from the beginning.

But yes Jimmy was right, and I do think they care, but that doesn't change that now they know that Davis has no control over it and that Chloe very much has feelings for Davis (and probably did all along).

Yeah, I noticed this too! So why isn't Chloe trying to contact him with a sincere apology? If she really loved Jimmy the first thing she'd be doing is begging him to come back and give her another chance. I didn't see that. She really seems unaffected by their breakup.

Way old history! Hex made that clear. She already left it behind. Her epiphany helped her see that she wasn't in tune to her real feelings. I'm glad to see real Chloe, no longer a doormat Chloe, back.

The way Chloe reacts is really strange. Jimmy was vindicated big time. I mean Chloe didn't realize that there was something wrong or dark with davis. She found out he was DOOMSDAY. And her reaction is to start helping him despite everything ??? Jimmy was right mouthing off to her ...

I agree that Chloe does owe Jimmy an apology - especially now that she knows his accusations were true. Yet, what I think stops her is the fact that she knows Davis is a murderer, and she still decides to lock herself into a room with him. Now, what goes on in that room is up for debate (at least until our next new episode, I presume), and while Clark might get the logic - he knows about Davis' connection to Krypton now - Jimmy will not ever know the truth, and this huge detail just can't adequately be explained away. Jimmy really is safer away from the situation, anyway... but I do hope Chloe eventually gets the chance to apologize.

I never saw it that way, nicely put. I would have to agree with that. She took the same steps that Clark took with Chloe when he asked Jor-El to take away her memories of where he came from. The only way she could keep Jimmy safe is to let him go.

I know! Poor Jimmy was vindicated (I must have mentioned this a dozen times in the forums already!) and apart from Clark, who mentioned it once, nothing!

It's so hard being right these days...

I believe when they 2 of them realized the truth they really didn't have time to go running to the phone and apologize at that moment. I'm sure she will apologize because she found out he was right. Right now she's busy trying to work all this out probably without getting him more involved then he is now. Besides all the evidence she had before didn't point to him being a killer. She saw no body like jimmy did. He covered his tracks well and made jimmy look like he was just crazy and drugged up.

Yeah I think Chloe may apologize to Jimmy later on though. But she did admit there were other problems brewing under the surface. And it seems clear that Chloe doesn't want Jimmy back. So I don't think she'll be completely heart broken if he doesn't accept it.

It's really stupid!!!!! I hate it. And I also hated how Chloe told Davis that she thought she loved him. She loves Jimmy! For ever and ever! Remember Committed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so pissed at that. I'm kinda getting angry with her! She could at least try!

I honestly dont think she wants Jimmy back.
She does seem to feel bad she misjudged the situation....but she said something to Davis along the lines of:

"How is it you can want to be with someone, and yet you know nothing about them."

Jimmy's ugly side has come out (which is very much waranted) telling her not to call him...and cussing her out.

I think she has realized she really doesnt want him back.

 Yeah, you're right. I want Jimmy and Lois in a separate story line. Working together to take down Davis.
