Yeah this was a really stupid scene. They practically walked right over the spacecraft and "Aliens" like egg and just went after the boy. I just don't understand how mistakes like this could even be made. Did they even think about these things during filming let alone writing and/or reviewing the scripts?

Yeah, this has always been the case. Clark and just about anyone else apparently can sneak in any time they want to. It's kind of funny actually. :lol:

We can kind of cheat here and assume that when they reached the scenes, the Kents were far enough into the smoke/fog for the security team not to notice them.

^ Who knows anymore. After killing Oliver's parents, during the same day it seems he decides to fly to Smallville. I think he has several reasons for being in Smallville that day.
