View Full Version : Chloe: Has she known about Doomsday for a while?

I always wanted to bring this up, but forgot. When I watched Infamous, I noticed in the original timeline that Chloe said "You're Doomsday" to Davis just before she ran out & he killed her.

Where did she ever hear that name? I know as Chloeiac she knew the name Doomsday because she said it in Legion while in the FOS. But what about afterwards? In her conversation with Davis in the original Infamous timeline, Davis acted suspicious that she might have remembered the events in the FoS after bringing up "what happened", but she thought he was talking about the kiss. So if she didn't know about the events in the FOS, how did she know his creature name is Doomsday?

This is very weird, because I know she called Lois immediately after finding out he was DD to alert Clark in the original Infamous timeline. But where did she get the name Doomsday from? Does she remember some of the things she did as Chloeiac? What about killing Sebastian? Does she remember that? I thought she was going to bring up Sebastian in Eternal when she talked about not standing by idly & adhering to Clark's ethics when something was coming to kill him.

I'm very confused about this. So, if anyone can help me understand, I would appreciate it.

This is not meant to be a bashing thread, so do not bash any character. Just talk about facts.

I don't think Clark even knows the name Doomsday. I think Jor-El only referred to him as the Destroyer. I could be wrong. Haven't watched Abyss since it aired.

yes jor-el referred to it as the "ultimate" destroyer, so how chloe knows that he's doomsday makes no sense seeing as how the name has never been referenced.

This is probably just another plothole. Season 8 is known for them!

I think it was much the same as her revelation when Oliver mentioned Sebastian. It just sort of 'dawned on her' because it was residing in the back of her mind from when she was infected and controlled by Brainiac. These were things that on one level she was aware of, but on another she was not....

--Sort of like when you can't remember a dream you had until later the next day when something somehow jogs it from your memory.

It could only be that she remembers the name from when she was Chloeiac. Nobody else has ever mentioned the name.

^^I don't know what else could be the case. Does she still remember the name? Because we haven't heard her mention it in the current timeline after the original one from Infamous.

I am thinking that Jor-El referred to Doomsday when Clark asked him about that symbol that kept popping up as Chloe's memories disappeared. I could be wrong. Its been quite a while since I watched Abyss.

He referred to the "symbol for doom" and the "ultimate destroyer" but did not call him Doomsday.

What if Chloe remembers everything from when Brainiac took over her? That would explain it.
