They took blood test of Davis but his DNA seemed to be normole. How is he able to have human DNA when he's some creature from another planet?

My guess is either when in human form his DNA is normal or his DNA didn't chance until after he was dropped off. Of course that wouldn't explain why he was still affected by the kryptonite.

For the same reason clark couldn't bust that glass open, and the same reason davis spoke english 3 days after he landed on earth, bad writing.

I asked that also. I think they said it because this was the reason that Lionel let Davis go but they never explained why his DNA was normal.

The answer is a very long and hard mathematical equation that would take a team of quantum scientists and a room of super computers to solve....
The equation would look like this.... [bad writing + 8 year olds = big plot holes]

in the hopes of making sense out of this show...
maybe his DNA was engineered to look like human DNA.

1. I guess the doctors or whatever thought his DNA was normal because he hadn't evolved any powers at that point--depowered Kryptonians on the show are said to be "human." Not the strongest writing, but still.
2. Davis was affected by Kryptonite because he is Kryptonian, and he wasn't technically "depowered," but had yet to reveal any abilities.
3. I'm guessing Brainiac gave Davis some sort of higher intelligence as an egg so he could talk/play with Lex. He did have the body of a young boy; Zod and Faora probably wanted him to mature quickly anyway.
4. Clark couldn't break the glass because he was already weakened by Kryptonite; Davis was not at the moment he was about to break the glass. Plus his beast form at least is shown to be pretty powerful, powerful enough to launch Clark across a barn.
Don't be so quick to blame everything on bad writing...

I think it is bad writing. Just because Lionel took the wrong boy doesn't mean that Davis isn't an interesting find. He's not completely normal, right? I don't know how they could have taken skin strips because anything that hurts him, he becomes immune to, right? So if they examined his DNA, they must have found something abnormal. I don't think the show has ever explicitly stated he has human DNA, whereas in "Bloodline", Faora stated he has Zod's DNA, which is Kryptonian. So isn't he invulnerable anyway?
My head hurts.
BTW, totally get the "We could've been brothers reference." DD had Kal-el's DNA, not Zod's in one version of his origins.
