I've made it no secret that I think that the red/blue blur storyline is a joke and now it has become even more of a joke, IMO. We go from Clark keeping his red/blue clothes in his backpack one episode to Clark walking all over the place in this episode wearing his red and blue, including inside the DP. This just says it all about how much TPTB really value their red/blue blur storyline. Here's a little message from me to TPTB....if you want me to even remotely care about this storyline and respect it, show some consistency.

He was wearing the blue jacket, I think the red one is his "uniform" when he is the Red-blue-blur. Only a minor difference though.

Also, I don't necessarily think wearing red and blue will cause random strangers to leap to the conclusion that he is the Red-blue-blur. It was a little iffy with Tess being around (as seen by him wanting to hide it in previous episodes), but I don't think a DP reporter is gonna discern that he is the Red-Blue-Blur simply because he wears those colors, lots of people wear red and blue.

Didn't Clark visit Tess in the Hospital wearing a blue Shirt with a red jacket?
Clark knows that Tess is already suspicious about him so why on earth would he wear that outfit to visit her.
Later in the barn when Tess visits him, he is still wearing a blue shirt.
I thought that primery colors especially the blue shirt/red jacket were being kept exclusively for the red/blue blur.

More importantly, why hasn't Chloe come over and burned all his red and blue jackets/shirts?:lol:

Clark, as a character, and his exploits as the RBB were clearly, CLEARLY, a complete afterthought to the writers of this episode. None of this episode was written to serve Clark's storyline. Clark was written to serve the Davis storyline, first and foremost, and even Chloe and Tess seemed to rank above him.

Yes, they most definitely should not have him wearing the red/blue combo when he's at the DP, or dealing with Tess, or really any other time except when he's being the RBB, or when he's in hero mode in some other capacity. And all it takes is for someone, a writer, or director, to take an extra 5 minutes to attend to this detail. But that would require Clark be a priority in this episode. He very clearly was not, IMO.

I even didnīt notice this situation. Now that you say itīs not correct for him to be wearing the red-blue combo

Sadly it's feeling more and more like that lately.

I love when Clark wears his purple shirt at the DP like in the last scene with Lois in Hex. The blue/red combo! That's the way it should be, but hey I agree that red jacket and blue shirt is a dead giveaway.

They're going to have to really work hard for SV Clark bursting onto the Scene as Superman to be believable...short a reality warp a la Crisis on Infinite Earths

Yeah, I mentioned this in the plotholes and inconsistencies thread. What the heck was he doing wandering around as Clark in his RBB outfit? It would be like Superman donning his Clark Kent glasses and going to work in the morning in full uniform. I mean, what? At least try to make the story make sense.
