I think there is a part of her that does want to stay with Davis, most definitely. BUT, I also think the bigger part of her wants to keep clark safe. She thinks that Davis is absolutely immortal now. Bottom line. He can't be killed, not even by Kryptonite. If there's even the slightest chance that she can 'calm' the urge to kill Clark inside of Davis, she's going to do it. Her actions just make much more sense to me now, though I don't necessarily agree with her decision nor would I be able to make that choice myself. I just think the number one thing that's going through her mind right now is to protect Clark. She didn't even hesitate when pulling that lever to kill Davis. That just confirmed it for me.

Also, Erica's hair is rockin in that promo!

We saw the loyalty when Chloe pulled that lever, so there's no question that part of it is definitely to protect Clark, but she admitted she was having feelings for him. I have to admit, they do have tremendous chemistry together!

Well, after seeing Eternal...there's no way Stiletto could possibly match it. I can definitely say Eternal may prove to be one of the best episodes of the entire Smallville series' history.

This was fantastic. It would have been stellar had they made it a two hour episode. Something is telling me Eternal and Beast may actually be two parts of the same episode and I have a suspicious feeling that's the case.

The filming of Stiletto seems very odd right in the middle of a serious episode arc about Davis/Chloe and Clark. Seeing the promo for Stiletto made me cringe. I'll pass, thank you very much and wait for Beast instead. The only thing is...Beast is going to be a long wait! Stiletto airs on April 24th! That's about the end of April...which means we're getting repeats til Stiletto airs. In the meantime...

Davis' words to Chloe are ominous though. He says that if she stays with him the Beast can be controlled. Of course this won't turn out to be true...but I have a dreaded feeling something bad is going to happen to Chloe in Beast. For one thing I don't believe the casting for the finale. One post is saying Sam Witwer's name will be in the credits only for the finale...which, if proven true...confirms my suspicion Beast will be Sam Witwer's final appearance. Going by what Davis says at the end...I suspect something is going to happen to Chloe in Beast to cause Davis to "die" and become Doomsday forever.

im guessing most of stiletto will be a filler,about lois in her superhero gig, then the last 10 or 15 min of the show it will pick up from eternal...

so a filler episode with a good ending..just like Hex

Great episode, all around good. One of my favorite scenes was when Chloe released the Kryptonite on Davis and he and Clark both weakened. I noticed how the cameraman made sure we saw both of them get hurt at the same time.

Stiletto looks great! Hopfully we'll get some more comedy like we did in Hex. Lois centric episodes are always entertaining :D

I half-agree seeing everything being re-re-established continuity was cringe worthy.Especially Sageeth being Davis.It actually makes sense until we factor in "Talisman".The whole Davis "dying" by Nickelodeon sli-liquid Kryptonite was anti-climatic.As with Chloe's reaction to watching Davis suffer.

As usual Clark's whole "Some battle" line can be tossed with every hint about Clark being Superman and Lois being his true love.

So she could have had it for years before she gave it to Lex. Continuity is not disrupted.

It actually is skully. Because Lex didn't know about the box being made of St. George's armor until he turned 12 (when Lionel told him in Memoria). Besides that tidbit of info, Lex seemed very excited when he got the box---as if he hadn't seen it before. This episode just had too many contradictions. Way too many.
