Smallville likes to mess with characters 'Destiny'... and in this case, i very much wouldn't mind. They have oodles of chemistry, a relationship between them would make a lot of sense, and it would provide interesting storylines :)

Ok, Olliver just emotionally blackmailed Chloe and called her a killer few weeks ago ..... nahhhhh ....

I didn't see it as emotional blackmail at all...

Ollie was challenging her to recognize that both of them are morally gray. A lot of what goes on between the two of them is one challenging the other. It's nice, it shows that they are on the same level.

Hmmm, after all many say that Chloe killed Sebastian and Olliver killed Lex, so yes they are on the same level of magic :)

 well definitely on the same level of morality

When it comes to morality eveyone on this show are guilty as charged.

True... but it seems like Ollie and Chloe are the only one's willing to admit it

 It does seem that way, doesn't it?

I'm all for Chlollie, if it wasn't for that small sticking point.

Yes, it could work, they have a good chemistry. I didn't know Ollie will be with Black Canary. To be honest, Chloe seems better for him. I don't like Canary's character (from what I know from SV).
Chlollie has some avatars with Chloe and Oliver, they are great together...

Smallville does like to mess with destiny but in this case it will be fitting. The actress that plays the Black Canary has landed a regular role on another series that is supposed to start in the fall Alaina Huffman has gone to Stargate Universe. So I see no reason why these two should get together next season that if they don't kill off Chloe in the season finale like so many people are predicting. I thought they had great chemeistry from the start. Sure he was with Lois at the time and it was a good match, but ever since Lois came on they were leading her to Clark.

I don't see any chemistry at all. Oliver is just nice to her because she's Clark's best friend. Now that they are working together, I'm sure he'll develop a friendship with her, in the same way he holds a friendship with Bart or Aquaman. I don't see anything romantic in it.

It would be nice if I could watch a show where not every male and female who share more than a few lines with each other have to be romantically involved... I mean we even have Cless lovers now, it's ridiculous. Males and females can be friends surprisingly enough.

I'm not feeling oodles of chemistry between the two, but I wouldn't be wildly opposed to them hooking up in whatever form that might take. I kind of feel the same way about Chloe/Oliver that I did about Lois/Oliver. It's not like it's bad, really, but they're kind of too similar to have any really great chemistry. They're both fast-talking, jaded, and sarcastic, and they don't balance each other out in that great way that Lois/Clark or Chloe/Clark do. Honestly, though, I really just want Chloe to have a relationship with someone who isn't a) evil or b) Jimmy.

There are some i find ridiculous, Cless being one of them. But there are many reasons why Chlollie is not ridiculous to me.

1. When I say chemistry, I mean the actors seem to spark in their scenes together. I don't think that's it's romantic chemistry yet, because you have to have a romantic scene in order to judge that. But as two people, having a conversation, I find their scenes very enjoyable.
2.They are both stubborn, passionate and slightly darker than other members of the cast. They understand each other, they challenge each other, they argue, they work together.
3. What help Chloe provides Oliver and vice versa is so contrasting to the relationship between her and Clark. With Clark, he NEEDS her help. He doesn't have anyone else to go too, anyone else he feels he can trust. With Oliver, he CHOOSES to go to Chloe for help. She is not the most qualified person to be doing the things he asks, but he chooses her because of her character. Because she has been through a lot, is close to what is going on, and has the loyalty he knows he needs from members of his team. He respects her a lot.
4. As Watchtower, she is going to be the voice in his ear from now on. She is going to be his safety net, she is going to be the comforting reassurance when a job isn't going according too plan. And he is going to be the hero she is guiding, the man she is fretting about 24/7, in case he doesn't come back okay... I know that all the members of the JL will be under her watch as well, but it's different with Ollie, because they have had a chance to properly connect, and because he is the leader and therefore in more danger. AND because he has no powers.
5. Lois and Clark is happening, so there is no longer the 'Can't date your cousin's ex' cause looks like Lois is starting it
6. My final point, is that they look sooooo damn good together :p

^^^Great post!

I especially like your 3rd and 4th point (mostly the 3rd). I never really thought about it that deeply. DANG, that's a heck of a lot of responsibility he's entrusted her with.

About the 6th point, they DO look good together!

It is a lot of responsibility. Clark gives her a lot too, but he seems to take it for granted... cause he's a bit of a BDA (as we all know :p). Ollie actually acknowledges how much he is putting on her, and how much he thinks she can take.

I don't want to take all the credit for my points, because my whole understanding of Chollie stems from the fanfictions of prophet87 on Fanfiction.net

There's tons of great Chlollie fanfiction out there, which is actually what got me on the Chlollie wagon a long time ago. I've been wanting to see romantic Chlollie onscreen for awhile now.

I do think they have chemistry. Their scenes are very enjoyable, and they play off of each other well. I'm really hoping we get more.

It's subjective, some see it some don't. :) I happen to see tons of potential there, moving on from friendship if the writers wanted to go that direction.

Hopefulsuicide, you had some very interesting points. I'm not 100% convinced that there is a real romantic attraction between the two yet (it seems mostly professional and friendly in nature right now) but I could see it happening someday in the future. Right now, they seem to be pushing more Chlavis (and I, of course, am still hoping for Chlark). But still, a relationship between Chloe and Oliver would be WAY preferable to the fate people are predicting for Chloe to have at season's end.

Chloe and Oliver are so adorible. But they are the best as friends. the day they get together is the day lana and Clark get togerther. Never going to happen. :)
