I was thinking that Clark wish he became human and forgot he was an alien. Chole really took a risk. What if she hit him with that thing and laid Clark out. She would be like oh boy. Lios would have been fired from her job.

He already ripped off the handle for the door and used his super-hearing, so it was safe to assume his powers were still there.

Even if they weren't, Clark wouldn't have been seriously injured unless he got hit in the head.
