Lois is clueless

Lois didn't even realize she was practically talking to herself on the phone. Maybe there was noise on the bus, but she should have at least recognized it wasn't Chloe's voice. No wonder she never realizes that Superman is really Clark. :lol:

Have to agree! I don't think I'd recognize my voice either. Plus the real Lois was on a moving truck; and I'm not sure about this, but I seem to remember her right hand covering her right ear while her left hand holding the cellphone to her left ear--guess that means she's having a hard time hearing Chloe clearly?

I think you're wrong here - The reason she doesn't recognize Clark as Supes is because of the great disguise - hey it worked for 70+ years didn't it. :rotfl:

She was aware that Chloe did not sound herself and she was on a moving truck to be fair. Also, as it's already been said, people do sound different when they hear themselves. I know I do.

You're right. I mean I know that personally I'm constantly listening to my own voice from an outsider's perspective and I'd pick up on it instantly. :rolleyes:

Seriously though, Lois can be blinded by love (aka with the whole Clark is Superman thing) but I would hardly call her clueless, especially not when it comes to this particular thing.

It wasn't an insult. I meant to post this to show what a conundrum Lois is. She's so smart but misses some of the most obvious things. It's pretty funny.

you are revered at the same level of superman, we even have cereal named after you. but one thing keeps coming up again and again - HOW DUMB WAS SHE??

and the proceeds to take glasses on and off

But I liked where HG Wells was the one to tell Lois that she wasn't galactically stupid, just blinded by love.

Great episode of Lois and Clark! I just re-watched that one yesterday too! Poor lois, i would have felt stupid after that too! :p

Yea that fact that Lois didnt realize Chloe sounded different really bothered me!! I know most people may not recognize they're own voice when hearing it or something but she could have at least noticed that Chloe sounded really different...
