Ok, so I watch the latest episode of Smallville, "Hex," and it was amazing. It's great to see that the show is finally starting to progressively feel more and more like I'm reading a page right out of a DC comic, and it's all thanks to Zatanna for bringing that magic back to the mix. By the way the actress was not only amazing playing the role, but smoking hawt! Lol. Anyways, while watching the first half of the show, it was establish that Zatanna has the ability to grant anyone something they trully desire, right? Well right before she 'poofed' into Oliver's office, good ol' Ollie seemed to be looking at an old newpaper featuring the front page story on Lex Luthor's murder with guilty eyes. Then right after Zatanna makes her grand entrance asking Oliver to help her find the lost spell book of her long dead father, she offers Oliver one wish in return. Is it me, or did the writers try to pull a quick one and say that Oliver has wished Lex back from the dead? If so, then does that means that Lex did, in fact, die in that explosion caused by Oliver planting one of Toymans bomb toys back in "Requiem?" Also, if this newly resurrected Lex comes back, will his story arc take on more like that of the "Superman: Birthright" comic in where after being in Smallivllie, ending friendships with Clark, and getting caught in an explosion cause by his own careless experimenting with kryptonite, that Lex will resurface later on as the all Powerful Luthor that has no memory of ever living in Smallville and of who Clark and his true identity? What do you guys think?
