The writers are definitely reading this board! ALl of the "dumb Clark" moments, the "flying waves", they have to be reading this board!

Maybe this is just where they were heading to begin with. But you could be right.

Also the Chloe/Lois switch is proof they read this board!

I picked up on a few thing during the eppy that led me to believe that they do peruse these boards from time to time.

Of course they read it. That's actually the primary catalyst for my desire to write on the board. I want my voice heard.
--Watch the commentaries of DvD's and you can tell in the terms (Lex, Clex, Clana) they throw around. They've also admitted to casting Aquaman (The pilot never aired) by looking to the boards where somemone suggested Justin Hartley would be the perfect Aquaman. They listened, and they used that knowledge again when the part of GA came up.

now if they'd get a hologram of Terrence Stamp as Jor-El in the fortress and a Tom Welling flight around Earth as a tribute to Chris Reeve, I'd be super happy!

I hope not because I haven't exactly been a saint by writing good comments about them (writers) and their writing..(grin)

I'm sure they look at these forums from time to time to get a glimpse at what people are saying. It would be a lost for them if they didn't read the forums here.

LOL..good one...
Nah, in order for them to appease my anger, they just need to give me access to the cast of SV. I promise that I won't be creepy...:D

lol hahah this is like a part time job for me lol
If they did, they would have given some Chlarkers what they wanted :( but nope!!
Anywho, I think they do read this board and that is awesome.
It's a nice thing for them to do! :D

I think they definitely read the boards. I don't know if they read THESE boards, but I would guess these are the most popular SV boards on the internet. I think there's been so many references, particularly in season 9, where they answer questions or make references to many things I've seen on the boards. I don't know how MUCH they change their writing goals, but perhaps they do. Clois seemed to be an answer to a lot of thoughts around here...
If they read it, that's great. That's a nice thing about the internet, connection to the creative staff. (P.S. hey guys. Nice work). I like that our voices are heard, though they certainly shouldn't pander to every wish of the fans.
I doubt they write on the board (If I was a writer, I would troll so bad...). I know JK Rowling once wrote on a Harry Potter message board (and was viciously attacked before they caught on). Who knows?

Of course, they read these boards. We are their biggest fans. Without us, Smallville would not have made it to Season 9.
But, even since I have been on the forums, which hasn't been that long, I have noticed that they hear our voices. Now, I in no way expect them to actually give me everything I want though. I loved it when Glen Winter came on the forum for Infamous. I also like it when the people from TV guide make an appearance. Because of this, I am more than certain the writers check these boards. That is what is so great about the internet!

That's rather odd to think about that... I guess I never really considered that before, but more than likely you're right. I wish that more of the writers/producers would come online and chat with the fans to get our input, so we could ask them questions, etc.

you guys are right.. and a clear example of them reading our boards is in the episode action. Except for the fact that it was all red, the forum papers resembled Ksite.

I'm glad that there are people like you that are not agreeing with the writers, they've been less than perfect in episodes that had so much potential and we're stuck here venting our anger. Keep it up!
Happy 700 post to me!!!!!!!;):p:rotfl:

After his episodes aired. In the Loved It/Hated It section. :D
He and Matt Mitovig from TV Guide have posted a couple times and proved just how awesome they are. :D

Is there really a better message board for Smallville than this. Seems like if they were going to do any investigating whatsoever into what the fans want, what the audience likes and doesn't like, etc, then this would be their first stop.
They may not read everything. Heck they may just skim through the thread titles to get a general idea. Either way i think we are influencing them a bit, and that's a good thing.

I remember Glen Winter specifically read Triplet's review and has deservedly complimented her but I agree he's a busy guy and probably does just skim. Even so, it makes me happy.

I don't know if it is true or not, but i can tell you i have called for some VERY specific things and many of them have been put on screen this season. and i don't mean two or three happy coincidences. I mean several really specific things.

well you can certainly see with all the polls episode-by-episode, it's free research readily available in terms of where to develop creatively for the audience.
