Superman's Signature Curl!!!!!!

Did anybody notice Clark having the Superman curl in his hair, when he was talking to Zatanna in front of that vortex thing????? Pretty iconic for Smallville standards. I am not sure if it was intentional or not, but whatever, pretty cool anyway.

^ He also had it when chloe as lois slipped. I think the makeup/hair people are doing it on purpose and they are trying to incorporate the swirl as subtly as possible.

I didn't notice it honestly... what I did notice was it felt like he was Superman there...

His stance and everything.. the way he said... "I am finally the man my father wanted me to be" and honestly.. that line was great.. it meant Jor-El and Jonathan. They both wanted him to be Superman, in totally different aspects or by their own definition.

I just watched the episode for the second time and was stunned by this! I am surprised I didn't catch it ther first time.

It's only in the bit of the scene where he says "I'm now the man my father wanted me to be." His hair is just slightly blowing before and after but not nearly enough to get this result. It has to have been planned. When coupled with the line itself, I'm convinced it was on purpose!

Way to go, director! Or, I guess the writer could have requested it to be put there. Either way, I loved it!

Yes. In the last three episodes I've been noticing it more and more. TW's hair is styled longer at the front so it falls in a soft wave. It's been like that since "Infamous" and you can see a small curl on the end of his fringe.

In that scene with Zatanna, the wind was blowing his hair so that the curl was more pronounced. And I think it was probably intentional. Similarly, Lois' hair is darker and more in keeping with her iconic self. They're just doing the same with Clark.

The curl appeared in Plastique, Identity, Turbulance, and now Hex. There may have been other episodes that I forgot. The one in Plastique was the best to me.

That did not look like the classic curl to me. The classic curl is not as wide as what we saw & has a neater appearance. The one in Hex seemed a little sloppy to me. I liked the one in Combat when he was speaking to Richter Maddox. You could see a slight version of the curl. It needs to be more pronounced than it was in Combat but less than what we saw in Hex IMHO.
