Nothing special. In fact there was very little FX work in this episode. The only ones I can think of were Clark's faked flight, Zatanna's chain attack, The spell scene, The Watchtower scene and some glowing eyes.

Loved the superjump though I still like "Hidden" and "Lucy"'s superjumps better.

Clark's superjump was very well done and shot,but I agree with Bizarro345 Hidden and Lucy's superjumps will always be some of my favorite special effects sequenes in the show.

yeh the concrete cracking was awesome, i love it when he super jumps, its the closest to flying

The portal to "the other side" was cool.

Isn't it funny how that rooftop is a major Set, now. :lol:

Actually, I was happy with the special effects. They where dark like the theme of the eppisode. Like the chains looked black and evil. Chains are usually metal color. The super jump, wasn't as cool as Lucy or Hidden, but it focus on the collection of the energy around his feet, wich they didn't focus on in those episodes. I loved it. I loved the sky opening up and yellow lights on top of the Daily Planet.

One thing though, how do tree leaves get to the roof of the daily planet? It's a pretty tall building.

Anyway. Amazing episode.

Clark's jump and Zatanna's control over chains - amazing scenes !
That jump is probably the best power-related scene to me, though...it reminds me off 'Crusade'. :)
