if ratings went on how good an ep was and not on who got the chance to see it live then ratings would be sky high for sure. damn people and their numbers and "figuring things out" people like that bug me:p

Actually, I think the greatness of this last episode ought to boost next weeks ratings more than anything else.

6.48, but the final game of the WBC was on the entire time (Japan vs Korea).
I expect it to go up next week.

Chuck and Medium were both down. So apparently no ones watching NBC. Medium beat Heroes in viewers. Heroes still had a higher demo, though. We just need to get back 3.6 million viewers and we'd be fine.
And I'm guessing everyone was watching Dancing With the Stars. Because it had 20.54 million viewers at 8:30. And no offense to anyone, but that show is pointless. I honestly would like to know peoples reasons for watching it.

The ratings are a little low. But it's the second best selling episode on iTunes. So it's still making money I'm sure. Besides, I think we'll be on for a good while.

Yes those numbers are very low. With numbers that low they're make budget cuts that will decrease the overall quality of the show.
It was up there on Hulu, too. I don't know about right now though. But does all of that really matter? It's what they get on TV that makes them keep it. I mean, it is a TV show, not an Internet show, or whatever you'd call them.
