This was an awesome episode!

This was a great episode! It did a lot to move the plot along and opened up a lot of new avenues that the show could take.

I loved that Casey stood up for Sarah - Way to take on for the team Sugar Bear!!

Sarah seemed more emotionally engaged with Chuck in this episode. She actually spoke to Chuck - like about his feelings and stuff. Whoa!

Do you think they will actually train Chuck as a spy??? Or was Beckman just saying that Chuck had to keep doing what the CIA/NSA said?

This was a good episode. At least what I saw of it. Because of my class that ends around 7 pm on Mondays, I at most get to see half of Chuck when it airs.

Mostly good episode, but I thought the whole Fulcrum leaders thing was really cheesy. A bunch of darkened faces behind a huge desk? Looked like a group of elders in a dystopian future or something.

^I liked it. It reminded me of Superman II where Jorel was standing before the council.

It seems like Fulcrum has grown. When we were first introduced to Fulcrum they were made out to be just a group of rouge agents - now it seems like they are a huge organized unit. I think that scene with the Fulcrum leadership was to show us that Fulcrum is a group to be reckoned with.

That does sound a bit cheesy. It sounds like something that might work in a book, but not necessarily on television.

Great episode! My favorite part was when the Buy More guys were heading out on their mission and it was all dramatic.

Ok, this was when the show ratched it back up to the cool, IMO. (And I looked again and it was written by Chris so very fitting.)

From the start (real plumbing on a mission), to Chuck searching for Orion even though Sarah told him not to (duh!), to the Buy More vs. Bev. Hills, this was instantly shaping up to be a great ep.

Loved Orion on the Nerd Herd Computer, then the computer he sent being in Lester's hands. Jeff's office (nice continuity since a few episodes back Lester had mentioned Jeff being in the bathroom 'between 3 and 5') was also cute. The wheel!

Playing with Orion's computer reminded me of the movie War Games. Then Chuck figuring it all out and stopping them.

I agree that the Fulcrum in shadow thing was very...melodramatic. I think it was really supposed to show both the secretive nature and also the "badness" of the group. But it almost bordered into parody.

Sneaking into the Buy More to steal the computer while Emmett on Guard (loved that Chuck was in charge!) and then 2 disturbing references (emmett and "Fresno" and Lester and "turning tricks"). :eek:

The guys thinking they were each other and then running and getting maced. And of course, Casey has a gun1 He wouldn't be Casey if he wasn't carrying!

The idea that it was not Orion, but fulcrum, and the General (who we had not--to my knowledge--seen 'in person' since the Pilot when she and Graham sent Casey to Burbank. I bet the actress was happy to get off that screen!) coming herself was a nice touch.

The "hero walk" and group at the Bev. Hills Buy More was :rotfl:

Beckman "Wake up, Casey, the 80's are over" and Casey's little noise was priceless!

Orion calling Chuck and sharing the footage ("Beckman is tiny!") and telling to escape was also very good stuff (It was obvious they hadn't cast the role of Orion yet because that is clearly not Bakula in any of those scenes.).

The Fulcrum agent not being dead and Chuck leaving the clue, then orion being caught by Fulcrum and the copter blowing up knew he wasn't dead because of spoilers. The reveal that the General doesn't want the Intersect out of his head was a great moment as well.

And then orion leaving the packet for Chuck with the intersect data. Loved the "this disc will self destruct in 5 seconds. Always wanted to say that". :lol:

And then Chuck hiding the intersect cards in the Ex Machina comic (very fitting--it a comic about a guy who is exposed to a machine that allows him to be able to talk to other machines) was cool and clever. Both on the writers and on Chuck's part.

Just a great episode with a lot of info and twists in it.
