Actually, he is slower than L&C Clark. In L&C, there was an episode that in one second, he was on his bed talking with Lois on the phone, on the other second, he was as Superman on Lois' apartment, still with the phone on his hand.

Even though they're two completely different shows, remember Clarks first change in Lois and Clark in the mens toilet. Even then he took an age getting ready and even stuck his elbow through the toilet door.

The sound of Clark getting changed in the phone booth also reminded me of Dean Cains spin-change in later seasons of L&C.

I'm thinking of the time when DC's Clark is spinning around from Clark to Superman. In that sense SV's Clark was faster to change from his desk, and into the phonebooth & walking out

:rolleyes: You know, what is the point of bringing this subject up in the middle of a discussion about Clark changing in the Phone Booth? :confused: It seems a bit Adversarial, IMO. 'Truth Be Told', EVERY SUPERHERO who has a "Secret Identity" Lies to Any person who isn't privvy to that Dual Identity. Only those who can be Trusted Explicitly can Know, so that includes 'Batman', 'Spiderman', 'Green Arrow', 'DareDevil', 'Wonder Woman', ...wait, just include All of the Justice League, The Avengers, The X-Men, etc.

They ALL LIE to Hide their Secret Identity, which is necessary to protect their loved ones and close friends from being used as pawns by their enemies. That "Lie" helps to Secure, to some degree, a personal life for him/them. So, WHY make all the Fuss about Clark??? The only time he lies is when it involves protecting his 'secret'.

I was Thrilled to see Clark change in the Phone Booth in the DP. This episode was a 'Clark-lite' episode, but we did get to know what he's been doing as far as working on How he plans to do his 'Hero Gig' and how he's adapted his usual and familiar Red Jacket with blue T-shirt as his "Pre-Superman, primary-colored Super Suit", and he was Happy doing it, too. It DID remind me of DC/Clark/Superman on L&C: TNAoS. It was very satisfying to watch him superspeed to the rescue. :D
