How does Tess know that Clark can fly?

Now why would Tess put Clark on a plane to see if he could fly when he hasn't even flown yet? Is it just me, or does this not make much sense? :p It can't be in Lex's stuff because he hasn't seen it because it hasn't happened yet.

I actually think Tess took a huge leap of faith. Its was definitely a bit on the nutty side, and she had the parachutes if things seemed to be getting out of hand. But she had faith that Clark would save her, and thats exactly what he did. Its a briliant plan, if it works out. And Tess lucked out.

Well Lex probably wrote something about Crusade when "evil" Clark hijacked his plane and stole that stone. While he probably didn't see Clark (they left it ambiguous) Lex typically attrubutes all the wackiness in his life to Clark.

She just took a gamble that Clark would get her out of any trouble- I'm not sure she knew how. Either way, Clark proved her right. She was not fooled!

I'm guessing since Lex knew Kara and Clark are related, he may have written something in his journal about Kara. He did see her fly off when she rescued him in episode 1 of season 7. Even though she never admitted to rescuing Lex, Brainiac as Kara in "Arctic" s7 confirmed it. I don't know when and if he made this entry. But, if he did, then Tess would have seen it.

Was it really that much of a gamble? I mean she probably had already alerted her security to be in the area, and she knew where the parachutes where... she had probably made sure they both had one in case she was wrong.

are we forgetting that she did all this on Olivers jet. why are we pointing the finger at Lex The green archer may have been behind this test. he has Luthors Kryptonite ring the last we saw him. the pilot that got paid off would have been Ollies, pilot right. just a thought

A big gamble that paid off but I don't think Tess thought she would be taking that big of a leap of faith by going out the door of a jet without a parachute. She is a little on the nutty side if you ask me. Good question though, but I don't think she thought Clark could fly.

Tess read lex's journal I'm sure he put all about clark in it including about clark's cousin kara who could fly and saved him much like clark had but deneyed having the ability to fly then I'm sure when brainiac came to him in the form of kara claiming to be from the same planet as the traveler he put that in the journal suspecting it to be clark but not being sure then lex goes missing and and clark is found by ollie's justice league in the arctic without powers he is shot by the green arrow then disapears then returns without a scratch on him I'm sure tess had camera's at black creek and from clark disapearing after being shot returning withour any injuries and what lex wrote in the journal tess figured she was almost possitive that clark could fly if put in a situation that he had to.
