Just wondering what everyone's opinion is of the course of action Chloe has taken. Do you think this is the beginning of the final arc of Chloe Sullivan?

Sadly..I think so. :(
If this is her final arc of the show then im kinda disappointed. To have Chloe go out on such a downward sprial is wrong IMO.

No, I think when Chloe first learned Clark's secret was the beginning of the end for her.

I have no more doubts. I mean it's very obvious now. Chloe's going down a doomed path...

Unfortunately, yes, I was hoping they would go another route but deep down inside I knew if there was a character they could do something like this to, it was Chloe. It's to the point there is no turning back.

Yes. By the time she realizes that Jimmy and Clark were right all along about Davis, I'm afraid it will be too late.

Yup Chloe is a gonner in my book. She's already betrayed her husband and left him a mess, I'm just waiting for her to betray Clark before she kicks the bucket.

She doesn't kno that Davis is doomsday....like i wish sometimes the people who criticize the show would out themselves in the characters shoes for once. They don't see everything you see.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but I'm still afraid that the PS3 are actually going to go through with this stupid plan, stupid storyline, and stupid death. And I think they've messed Jimmy up as bad, if not worse, than Chloe. I know a TV show has to have drama, but I seriously don't know what the producers' problem is. There seems to be a mass character assassination going on, and I, for one, am very disappointed in the PS3.
Does anyone remember season 4? Love it or hate it, there was this great feeling that year that change was taking place, with every character at their best. Lex, of course, was wading in dark waters, but, unfortunately, that was the change he was destined to take. And even then, he salvaged what was left of his friendship with Clark until season 5.
This season is like a time bomb in a daycare. I can't enjoy the children's laughter, because I know it's all going to blow up in my face. There's this terrible feeling of dread. The middle of the season always turns a bit darker, but I can't remember any season ever devolving into such a morbid piece of horror. This show has thrived on conflict and villainy for years, but I think they're taking this too far. Jimmy and Chloe's storyline is a perfect example of that. I fear that for all the awesomeness we may yet see, they're going to suck the joy out of Smallville.
I expected better from them.

The real shame in this is that for all the improvement the PS3 brought with them, they've ruined Smallville's pride and joy. The one original addition that this show made to the Superman story, and the PS3 have practically spit on it.
Al and Miles wrote Chloe respectfully, and it seems that the PS3 are dead-set on destroying her.

It's a bad day for Chloe.
Jimmy is under the influence of drugs. She
She surprised Jimmy about to kill Davis. What do you want she do.
She has avoided the worst.
You forgive all to Lois. You condemn everything that Chloe do. The good and the bad things.

No way will AM or PS3 let Chloe go out the bad guy. No way. She may be on a dark path now, but in the end she'll come around. Heck, if they made Lana the "hero" after her convulded storyline, why can't Chloe getting a fitting end (though, hopefully better than Lana's).

You make a lot of good points, particularly the bolded one. They tend to get overly serious. I know this is a drama but even in real life, there are moments of laughter and humor and they need to find that more often.
I feel for you with Chloe. I think she dies and for someone who really enjoys a character, it's a bitter pill to swallow when you see that person who has been a shining example of goodness go down a dark path. But that's the direction they are taking Chloe and all the Chlavis fans out there who swooned over that pairing are going to end up regretting it, I think.

I thought that SV's pride and joy is simply a fresh take on the superman mythos. Just because Chloe was an original character doesn't make her their pride and joy in my honest opinion. In my opinion, Lana was. Her story was more developed than any character - mythos or non-mythos. Chloe's a character that they can choose to do with whatever they care to and they are doing what they want.
No way will AM or PS3 let Chloe go out the bad guy. No way. She may be on a dark path now, but in the end she'll come around. Heck, if they made Lana the "hero" after her convulded storyline, why can't Chloe getting a fitting end (though, hopefully better than Lana's).
I would bet that she goes out redeemed. Maybe she saves Jimmy's life? That would redeem her.

Just joking...I really feel for Chloe but Jimmy was right.
Maybe all the foreshadowing is for naught. Jimmy's nightmare openly depicting Doomsday killing Chloe is some what a let down if that's how it'll happen.

I do NOT agree with this. I said that about Chloe because she is the show's exclusive creation. Lana, to me, is the biggest embarrassment the show should have. In retrospect, they made things up for her as they went along, and it rarely worked out well.
I would bet that she goes out redeemed. Maybe she saves Jimmy's life? That would redeem her.
But I don't want some lame, last minute "redemption." Chloe is NOT a character who ever needed redeemed. And to have her die tragically is going to sour my opinion of the PS3 and this trainwreck of a show they're currently producing.

Chloe may die but not for a long while yet. Her character will stick around for season 9 and maybe her character will die at the end of that but for now she's staying and to be perfectly honest I don't see where all this talk of Chloe dying is coming from.
