that Lois always gets knocked the **** out? Whenever she gets thrown about, she conveniently gets a concussion or something and is knocked out. She then springs back to life having opened a can of whoop-@ss and saves the day.

I can remember at least three instances over the past couple seasons that she gets thrown/hit and she's out for the count, albeit temporarily. I think she needs a head doctor...although I'm glad she took Linda out and then Davis took care of business and finished the job.

So does every other girl on Smallville...

Yea it seems like that happens a lot. The thing is, she is supposedly trained in combat because she grew up as an army brat, but I swear she loses almost every fight she gets in to.

Yep, all those girls would have had brain damage by now as much as they have been knocked out. Still like how Lois doesn't take crap and goes after the bad guys and gals.

Um. Try two fights she got into. She wins alot of them. And I don't see how this is weird.... I'm sure her head hurt, but there was more important things to do (like saving Clark) than worrying about her head.

She's a normal human who loses fights to super-humans... geee... but then again... she also wins them. See creaming Linda.

She fought back because the man she loves life was at risk. Duh!!
I think Lois secretly has powers that make her have a super head!

Of course people have noticed. It's the tried-and-true formula for Smallville - generally used to keep people who don't know the secret from being in on the secret. Otherwise used for plot purposes.

Someone has noticed this trend enough to actually keep a count.

Please note that Lex is still in the lead. You'll also notice the interesting correlation that the number of knockouts each character gets seems to reduce from the moment they find out Clark's secret.

What I found interesting was not so much that she got knocked out, but that she knew his secret and she still got knocked out. Usually gratuitous knockouts are used to conveniently explain why nobody ever sees Clark pulling out a can of alien whoopass, but what was the reason here? I guess to explain why she wasn't able to run and tell Clark about Chloe's message right away, but it still felt a bit contrived.

YES! Someone brought this up on another board and I totally agree. This woman(as well as Lana and Chloe) would be freakin brain dead at this point. They've taken more blows to the head than football players.
