one of the major plot holes of the episode is how come Linda lake knew about the legion ring and where to find it ??
any light on this, please ??

She overheard Clark and Chloe in the bushes. She's a sneaky one.

I found it to be somewhat funny. Linda Lake was in those bushes & not really that close to Clark & Chloe yet heard the talk about the ring. In other episodes from early seasons, we saw Lex enter a room a second after there was talk about Clark being an alien/etc and he didn't hear one word of it.

Linda not only found out about the ring but just where it was located. She also overheard about the green K and how it was bad for Clark. That woman sure got around and knew just where everyone was. I guess she could read minds as well.

She was pretty much the ultimate spy. She was probably following Clark around for those years she was out of sight. All she had to do was turn herself into water and nobody would suspect anything.

Chloe said that Linda Lake was in Black Creek with her. So for at least for a short time, she wasn't snooping around Clark. But from the sounds of it, she had been spying on him and Davis since she got re-assimilated into society at the start of Season 8.

I was confused at first too, because I somehow didn't noticed Linda in the bushes the first time. But when I rewatched the episode, I saw it and went 'ah, that's how she knew'.

what got me was how quickly she travelled in her water form. I mean, she's out in the woods, then zoom, back to the DP, talking to Katie Couric, then zoom back to the Kent Farm just a couple minutes behind Clark and Lois who supersped from the DP to the barn. I know she's moving fast in H2O, but she has super-liquify speed.
