Who else thought Lois was looking....particularly hot this episode? Or should I say Erica?

Well whoever, I thought she looked her best EVER.

Loved the hair, with the bit across the forehead (Im sure theres a technical name for that) the makeup, especially the eyebrows and her facial expressions. Her face looked different, and I just cant put my finger on it, but whatever it is it works for me

I'm a female but boy, Erica looked absolutely smoking. I could barely stop looking at her eyes in the barn scene. They somehow....sparkled. I dunno. She looked gorgeous.

Her hair is great this season. It has never been better. She is really growing on me. The way she had Clark's back was awesome. It shows why those 2 work so well. I also love that she didn't drive him nuts about not telling her the secret after he told her he wouldn't. Lana would have never done that. In that regard, Lana was very similar to Lex (neither were able to let go of the past).

I think she's always very attractive, but I didn't notice any difference in this episode. I will say that through her 4 seasons her character has really grown on me. I liked Lana at first, but by season 3 or 4 she got annoying. Lois has always been the comic relief, especially in the days before Jimmy, but now she's one of my favorite characters.

My wife said she thought Lois' lipstick looked good--& she's a MK consultant, so she knows this stuff--so I guess there was something special about Lois in this episode & I just wasn't paying attention.

Let's be for real here. Truth be told Lois (really Erica) always looks hot. I mean, daymn yo.

Like "-Nora-" said, my favorite scene had to be the barn scene. I don't know what trick the lighting crew did to make Erica's eyes sparkle like that but the first time I saw that scene it actually took my breath away to just see how gorgeous she is. I will admit what Lois was saying at the moment also contributed to that. I really like how that scene played out (although I will admit the dialogue took a few minutes for me to wrap my head around).

No it isn't just you, I was saying something about that in the KK Picture Thread, because in some recent pics I've seen KK looks more filled out as well.

I don't want to start a 'scrawny people suck' war so that isn't my intention but a woman is a lot more attractive to me with some curves. I always found the leggy Erica a dazzling fox, but there was a time where she was getting too thin. Like back in "Bizarro" where the title character was eyeing her bum and she, as much as I love her, didn't have much junk in her trunk. :p

But then watching this season she definitely has a lovely bum and the rest of her looks more curvaceous as well.

No you aren't alone in it. I know there are others who prefer KK's looks to ED's looks. Their appearances differ, but I think if people are being honest they can admit that they are both attractive women, even if one of them appeals to them personally more than the other.

You have your own tastes and there isn't anything wrong with that. Erica has always been more to my tastes in almost every way really, except for her hair color but then this season she finally dipped her toes in the darker side of the brunette fence so now I love everything on her. I think this season she is just amazingly gorgeous, enough so that when she was perched on Clark's desk with her lovely skirt-suit I was almost drooling on myself. LOL, that paints an attractive picture hmm? :p

But I think she was lovely in "Infamous" as she has been without a doubt this whole season.

i agree, they must've done something with the lighting because she looked like she was glowing, so she was extra beautiful in this episode. someone else mentioned it, but her eyes looked like they were sparkling in the barn scene, i don't know what it was but it added extra oomph to that scene. i would say ED always manages to look more beautiful in each episode and this episode was no exception.

Yes...two very specific reasons for this.

1) Cheekbones (Highlighted in ways that gave her more dramatic and flattering contour than previously. Adding backlighting (Something they constantly do for Clark) shows the contours of the face much more dramatically than normal lighting...they utilized this extraordinarilly well).

2) Close up's with EYES...amazing...reminiscent of Michelle Pfieffer in Wolf...the close ups with the those wide almond eyes....hauntingly close up and beautiful (Coupled with great/countouring lighting, the eye lashes were extremely well done...HD really helps here.

If I had a purely unaesthetic third reason, I'd say Lois was in FULL LOIS form providing strength, insight, and wordliness to Clark who so desperately is in need of a hero of his own....glad she provided one.

ED is definitely the one person who has had the most different looks in the series. Her eyes looked so different in the rain & Daily Planet scenes than they did later on in the scenes where she went up to Tess' office, the barn scene, and the ending coffee shop scene. She also looked totally different as Chloe in Hex than she did as Lois at the end of the episode.

In many ways, she looks younger than she did in Crusade especially when compared to how she looked when she was driving in her car before the lightning struck it.

I saw an appearance of her in a recent CW interview and on a talkshow and she looks beyond stunning. I wish they would have let her have this appearance years ago.

^^^ I think the make-up and costume departments did a great job when she was Faora in Bloodline. Combined with ED's different mannerisms, her performance and appearance suggested a different character. She looked a bit 80's with all that power dressing (and very alluring if I do say so!)
Also, being taken as a serious journalist has given the character good reason to wear blouses and pencil skirts - it's the classic Lois Lane look! :)
