I checked just to see if anyone noticed this and I didnt see anything, if there is, delete this

But when Davis says he was drawn back, its a nice nod i think to the comics doomsday, where D-day can sense and be drawn to Superman because he is Kryptonian, and he proceeds to think of him as a threat, just dawned on me, wondered if anyone else noticed it

Yeah i thought that immediatly. In the comics he aws like Metrpls!! He knew he had to go to Metropolis, And i think that its more than a coincidence they wrote it in Smallville how they did.

I noticed it, but wasn't sure what to think since he's been around Clark before but wasn't drawn to him like he was this time. Maybe something Brainiac did to him changed him so that he's more like the comics Doomsday.

I thought that too, but i agree with xrayvision.
It was only after Doomsday read the newspaper and realised Clark is the RRB and Kryptonian that he pieced the pieces together.
