Why Tom Welling should've been superman in superman returns or any other future superman movie within the next 1-5 years, imo tom was masterful in the scene in which he revealed himself, i thought it was great. How much better would superman returns had been with tw instead of routh i think much better.

Eh... The whole walking down the street and listening to praises didn't really work for me, and the entire first scene with Linda Lake was abysmal (though I attribute this mainly to the writers). But it seemed way too cheesy to hear all these people singing his praises.

I agree with you KaleldaNole. I really think he should have played Superman in the movie and the ones to come.
I especially liked the scene when that kid dressed as him came up to him and asked for his autograph.

Most of the acting in this episode, especially from Tom Welling, was terrible. I dont know how else to say but his acting in this episode didn't feel like he was with the storyline. It felt like they all took it as a joke. The best actor in the episode was Sam Witwer, his scene with Chloe was actually kind of creepy. Besides that, it was a bad episode with bad performances, especially for Tom Welling.

Whoa, that was brutally honest. I disagree but I gotta admit that sounded harsh lol. I gotta give it up to you for being honest though!

I have to agree. There was a lot I liked about the episode, but the whole Clark Kent (aka Peter Parker clone from Spiderman III) walking down the street was over the top. And Linda Lake's entrance just wasn't good.

I liked Routh! He was... graceful. I'd certainly like to see a Superman film with the SV cast, but I'm pretty sure TW has said he's not willing to don the suit.

I didn't really mind that, actually. He seemed more like he was trying to gauge what life was going to be like for him now than like he was there just to puff up his ego or something.

I did feel that the acting was off in this episode as well at times, and I like the actors. But Sam Witwer was BRILLIANT. Obviously, he can do bigger roles after this. I thought Allison Mack was good too, especially when she was reacting off Sam Witwer. They have intense chemistry, and the scene was creepy, gothic, and romantic! I love the Beauty and the Beast angle.
Tori Spelling seemed off her game too. I don't know. Everyone had good moments. But Sam Witwer carried the episode for sure.

Tom Welling as we know IS a good Superman though I never had a problem with Routh being the Superman for the movie. I had more of a problem with Lois and Lex in Superman Returns.

I'm not going to blame TW for this episode. Other than Davis, all the other characters just seemed off. The lighting/makeup/writing all seemed horrible too. Personally, I'm calling it the CLana Arc Hangover. In my mind, the writers had to get so tanked to write the CLana crap that when it was finished they had one hell of a hangover...And the Infamous script to finish. ;)
