Towards the end of the episode, I started to think that the thing that changed in the episode was the fact that Davis seems to have control of his dark side, but then I got to thinking:

Lois was so eager to meet for coffee with Clark, plus the "there's no need for an explanative," (I think that was the word) meaning that she remembered everything.

Is anyone else thinking this?

i don't think so because of the spoilers of the future episodes but i would love her to remember... but i don't think she did...

No. Chloe remembered Clark again because her memory was restored. The Lois who was waiting for Clark at the coffee shop never knew Clark's secret. Time travel, remember? (I love when they use time travel!) Remember that the last time Lois saw Clark was when they had almost kissed & Lana showed up, & she had told Oliver all that stuff & he knew she was in love with Clark. She feels like she was left hanging, that's all.

I think what Lois was meaning was meaning to that was she didn't want to explain 'why'. She was giving the invitation to coffee, deep down she was wanting it to be a step forward. So they could start a relationship but with Lois she's not good with expressing her romantic feelings. She's still holding onto not letting her feelings out, thats why she texted Clark with the excuse for a lead for a story.

Yeah, and Chloe said something would change because last time he went back in time, someone died. What if nobody dies, but somebody remembers the secret? It's not that far fetched.

I hope maybe that she does. But you're right most likely not. Would be an awesome twist in the finale though if she did.

No she doesn't... Because time was reset and Clark never told her his secret in the first place. Only Clark retained the memories of the original timeline.

What we did see was Clark learning that Lois can handle his secret, and that's beyond huge because that can't hold him back. The only thing holding Clark back now is the idea of getting hurt again and Lois getting hurt protecting his secret.
