I'm pretty sure Doomsday killed Chloe in the original timeline before Clark went back to change things as he picked up her car. We know that from last time Clark did this, Lana was saved & Jonathan died. This time, Chloe was saved, and Linda Lake died. I'm curious whether there will be more consequences as a result. We also know that Chloe's meeting with Davis was nixed so she won't find out that Davis is Doomsday in advance.

Things should be very interesting for the rest of the season.

no, not reckoning, not at all. Reckoning had real consequences, and I cared about the death

There were definitely parallels. Clark tells Lois his secret in her 5th season on the show, much like he told Lana in their 5th season.

An actual notification about Doomsday vs. no notification (or a delayed one at best) is sure to cause consequences at least for Clark. I think he will fall prey to Doomsday.

That's the main reason why he didn't meet with her. He doesn't want to ruin it like he did with Lana in Reckoning.

Another similarity is how there was a good part of the episode (when everyone adored Clark) and a bad side (when they turned against him).

Another thing to point out:

Reckoning: Time travel was done with Jor-El transferring Clark's essence & knowledge of the events he lived out (Lana dying) into the body of the Clark of the morning of the election.

Infamous: Time travel was done with Clark putting on the ring and in his own physical body went back to the past as the Legion did in Legion. This would mean that there should have been 2 Clark's when he went back 2 days. Perhaps there was a meeting of the 2 Clarks offscreen & the one we saw after the ring was put on was the Clark of 2 days ago carrying out a mission that the present day Clark told him to do to avoid the problems caused by Linda Lake. Otherwise there would be 2 Clarks & 2 rings since Clark for the rest of the episode was back in the 2 days ago timeline.

I'm also pretty sure that Doomsday killed Chloe as well. Either that or kidnapped her again. Though Clark wasn't aware of what was happening with Chloe when he put the ring on, as he didn't hear what Lois was about to tell him.

Though i personally can't compare it to Reckoning. As Reckoning physically destroyed my soul when Pa Kent died.

I completely agree about Jonathan in Reckoning. I wish so much they never killed him off. This very episode was one where his presence was greatly needed.

Haha, I can just imagine one Clark coming home and like in the Goldilocks & the 3 Bears story say:

Clark of 2 Days Ago: Who's been eating my pie?

Clark of 2 Days Ago: Who's been wearing my red jackets?

Clark of 2 Days Ago: Who's been wearing my Legion ring?

Clark of 2 Days Ago: Who's been sleeping in my bed with Lois...errrr...me?

Lois: Hey it's the Doublemint Clarks. Double my pleasure double my fun!! Jump in!!

Clark of the Present: Oh crap!! I forgot to go back to the present. Here dude, take this ring and go forward 2 days.

Clark of 2 Days Ago: What'd you do now?

Clark of the Present: I told the world my secret.

Clark of 2 Days Ago: You idiot!!
